Great pic of your kid villain-she's the same age as one of my neices. Hope to adopt kids myself when I'm in a long term relationship and living with someone-my flats far too small for kids.

a. I'm seriously not interested in getting preggers (ick) b. There are so many kids out there that need homes - Breaks my heart thinking about it and if I can give them a home, then that's what I'd want to do. I'd like to adopt within the US if possible. I'm still waiting for the Boy to pop the question (I gave him until 2013), then for us to get hitched, buy a house, and THEN we'll start the process. |

I have no idea how it works in the US but here in the UK it is an extremely long and arduous process. More often than not you have to foster children first and after you help a few if you have a foster kid for a very long time then you can go through the courts and present your case to adopt. But bear in mind that you will have a lot of assessments and trials with social services. It's really sad that the complex system of adoption puts most people off so Chronogrl though I don't know how the adoption process works in the UKSI'm sure its completely frustrating, energy sapping, tremendously difficult but in the long term rewarding. |

Thanks villain-its definitely being planned in the long term, I've got quite a lot of stuff to sort out in my life first. UK Social services don't leave any stone unturned so you need to prepare a long time before you begin the process.

Spent Saturday in DC, visited the Crime & Punishment Museum and the Museum of American History (where they have the ruby slippers, Eddie Van Halen's guitar, and other such stuff), and spent Sunday at Mt. Vernon (George Washington's home) in VA. This picture is taken from the front of the house (the house is behind the person taking the picture) with a spectacular view of the Potomac River behind me. It definitely wouldn't suck to wake up to that view every morning!

Is that a tent behind you? Are you camping in someone's back garden?
|
Haha that does look like a tent doesnt it? Actually that's a part of a swing that broke. It's just positioned strangely. That's actually my backyard.

Practising the Zombie make-up for a short film I'm making for school. Liquid Latex is a godsend. |
That looks awesome dude
|
Yeah it looks really good. Also looks like a lot of fun!

Seriously though, good pic! |
Thanks guys! It's really fun :P I couldn't stop looking at myself. Also surprisingly easy to do. That wound was just a mixture of tissue paper, liquid latex, fake blood and some red facepaint.
