... the village. well... the first half. I listened when they said it was bad... until last night. I don't know why I did it. It was horrible. and the dialog, ugh. need I say more?

Agreed. Just a simple, good movie.

Last seen was Red Eye. It wasn't bad really, but I am glad I waited to rent. I just love that Rachel McAdams.

Return of the Living Dead

I thought this was great! Amazing how I went sooo long without seeing it! Great gore effects, pretty cool explanation, plus an awesome ending to boot!

One thing I dont get though: Everyone seems to love this movie, right? Ive heared a ton of people say they liked it. Yet, everyone complained about the "smart" zombies in Land of the Dead. If you ask me, these corpses were a heckuva lot smarter than Big Daddy's crew. I mean they figured out how to get delivery! Fresh brains, 10 min or its free!:p

I wouldn't say you'd have to like poker to like it though. Like you said, it's really well acted and it's not only about poker. To me, that's kinda like not recommending Kingpin because someone doesn't like bowling or Rudy because someone doesn't like football. Although I do like poker, so my view could be slanted.

Well I didn't say you have to like poker to like the film, just that if you're not into poker then it might bore you a bit. Like you said it's not all about poker but unlike Rudy in which they barely even display a field, poker is all throughout the movie. So you might like it, it's just that when the frequent poker scenes pop up ya might be a little lost for a moment.

It's like you're watching a movie that involves football but isn't completely about football and you come up on a scene of practice. Coach is walking around talking about pulling guards, hitch and go,cover 2 ect. ect. Someone not into football would be a little lost on that particular scene, that's all I was trying to imply.

(as you can tell, I'm a lil crappy at explaining things, hope you got the point.)

Hustle and Flow

Terrence Howard deserves the reconition he's getting from this role.

Struggled my way through Man on the Moon, the Jim Carey flick about Andy Kaufman. Didn't rate this one at all.
