It's great imo, there's alot stuff you can do and it's very realistic. You don't play in the games which is what allowed them to focus on all of the details of coaching.

Unless you know football it'll take a bit to get the hang of it but it's not rocket science.

Im a Canuk through and through:D.

I bought it off Ebay. Ive sent an email to the person I bought it from, and supposedly they've sent out another copy. That was 2 weeks ago, now they wont answer my emails:mad:

That really sucks, man. I hope it works out for you. If not, I checked DDDvd.ca, and they have a copy for around $19. I've had problems with a few of the amazon.com marketplace sellers, but I haven't dealt with eBay enough to run into one.

P.S. Is it true Canadians wear wooden shoes?:p

dont buy DVDs from US ebay sellers ...
Its not worth it - i got burned several times ..

a combination of unscrupulous sellers, and thieving customs/mail workers.

DVDs are too small and convenient to lift. And its always declared on the customs sticker whats inside..

Jacob Singer 06-23-2006 07:56 AM

And cd too, I order this year over 6 and only get 2

Can never trust those dirty americans :p

I ordered The Hills Have Eyes (Unrated) a while back, after seeing it in theatres.

Also been looking for Kairo, as I bought a copy but it was a shitty burnt copy with bad, bad subtitles. Stupid Hong Kong Black markets.

Despare 06-23-2006 07:10 PM

By the by, how many people who got the new Hills Have Eyes got the Best Buy exclusive bloody slipcase?

The "Ghostly Grins" triple feature DVD at the local discount store. Featuring:

SPOOKS RUN WILD
KING OF THE ZOMBIES
TOPPER RETURNS

I hadn't seen "Spooks Run Wild" in oh something like thirty years?? and I always liked the Bowery Boys movies. "Topper Returns" is a pretty good movie also. I already had the other one, but it's pretty good too.

It would seem so. Actually, I've had Blade since it was released pretty much. My aunt just told me that she was selling a binch of DVDs, and the only one I was interested in was Blade II. I went out and bought Blade Trinity in the Buy 2, Get 2 free deal from Movie Gallery before Blade 2 got here.;)

heebiejeebies 06-24-2006 09:38 AM

Went on a bit of a buying spree yesterday. Need to give my checkbook time to cool off.:D

Night Watch
Chain Reaction
J-horror Anthology: Legends
Dark City

I ordered Kill Bill v1 off deep discount... and to my great luck it's going to arrive while i'm on vacation... So.... hmmm RETURN, drive down here and hang on to it for me, thanks.

But now I guess I need to get volume 2... bleh

Where are you getting your movies? I can get Oldboy for about $12 new. Most of the foreign movies I've bought either at a local movie store or Amazon. If I order enough (which is never a problem for me :D ), I can get free shipping from Amazon. That helps a bit; that's where I got Kairo from. Also, the subtitles on my new copy were not great; the timing seemed off by a few seconds.

Miss Olivia 06-25-2006 01:28 PM

I just got Evil Dead 2 online for 4 dollars. I figured it was a crime to have Evil Dead and Army of Darkness without it, although they're both on DVD and the ED2 I just bought is VHS....I ALMOST bought The Monster Squad, but I just can't bring myself to spend 25 bucks on a used VHS yet....I'll probably do it next weekend:rolleyes:

It really sucks how much some movies cost....From Beyond is one of the ones that are harder to find I guess....so is Howard the Duck for some reason. I wonder why they don't make dvd's of some of these movies, they used to be pretty popular....and if they can put freaking BREEDERS on dvd, why not movies actually worth watching???

urgeok 06-25-2006 07:08 PM

I was tempted to by Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection for just over 100$. That would have included... (Saboteur / Shadow of a Doubt / Rope / Rear Window / The Trouble with Harry / The Man Who Knew Too Much / Vertigo / Psycho / The Birds / Marnie / Torn Curtain / Topaz / Frenzy / Family Plot)

Buuut, seeing as I haven't seen many of his films, I just grabbed Vertigo. I'm pumped to watch it. :)
