Takashi Shimizu's "sequel" to his Shock Labyrinth. A dark surreal fairytale maybe inspired by Alice in Wonderland, maybe by David Lynch. It was weird.

Gonna be looking this one up....

Ebola Syndrome (1996) WTF did i just watch lol. Its hilarious on many levels, Thought it might be sicker and gorier but minor complaints. Definitely worth a watch.

That one is a ten out of ten for me. It's probably my favorite Miike film, and I love a BUNCH of his work.

Fatal Frame?... How dare you use that title?

BLASPHEMY!!::mad::::danger::::mad::

The only 2 things this drama had in common with the games was the story about a girl searching for her lost female friend and the camera obscura which we get to see twice in the movie.
Forget about creepy locations, forget about intense atmosphere, forget about scary ghosts, forget about having a good time.

I knew it!! I knew this film won't be Fatal Frame, but still.. how could creators of this.."movie" do this?

The last Asian movie I saw was literally 20 minutes before I post this.

Tokyo Tribe (2014)
It's a hip hop gangster musical comedy. It's directed by Sion Sono.


I'd give it 2/5. I was just about entertained by it. Some interesting things happened and it was suitably over the top but I was disappointed because I really like Sion Sono's other films and this one just didn't click for me.

However, yesterday I watched one of my all time favourite Asian movies.
I Saw The Devil.... Now that movie is a masterpiece. 5/5

To Sir, with Love(2006). 8/10. At first it seemed like typical thriller, but near the end story makes some twists and... you know, this is the first film where I felt real compassion for the killer.

Anazâ/Another (2012) 4/10

The anime "Another" is,probably, my favorite horror-thriller anime. So, when I found out about this film I decided to watch it immediately, although I didn't have any high expectations.
What I can say about this film...if you new to j-horrors or you didn't watch anime, probably you'll think about this film as about a bit below average horror. But I watched anime and can say honestly -this film sucks. If you really interested in story, better watch anime Another.

It's not very long(13 episodes), but much better than this film.

Ghost Theater(2015) 5/10
First half of the film wasn't too bad, it was rather interesting. But the last 20 minutes...it was more a comedy than horror. And the ghost was not scary at all. Hideo Nakata, what happened to you?

Hansel & Gretel, and right after-A Tale of two sisters.
Both of them were great. But H&G seemed to me more like a dark fairy tale, than horror. And about the second one... I liked the hollywood remake(Uninvited),really liked, mostly because of ending, but still liked it. Now I just hate it. How could they turn the great story of original into typical B-thriller, with unexpected ending?
So Hansel & Gretel- 8/10, Tale of Two Sisters- 10/10!!

The Doll master 8/10 Not very scary, but I liked the story...and the actress, who played Mi-na. She's really a doll::love::
