I just bought that book that is a reprint of l9 or so of the original comics and the first encounter with Sandman is sorta silly.

I'm sure they will do better than that, remeber the old comics had some really "campy" storylines.

They will do something were snadman can come back b/c he's not exactly one of those villians that can be killed easily. Sandman will probably get frozen and then put in jail or something.

If I remember correctly he was defeated by water in the Animated series... or maybe that was because the SM was a clone.

Didnt they pit him against Hydro Man in the animated series? Thats how I remember him getting beat...

Are we talking about the 90's animated series or one of the earlier series, I don't remeber seeing Sandman in the 90's series, but I never saw every episode.

This is my memory of it too. Sort of made mud. But then wouldn't sandman just become clayface? Never mind, I'm crossing my franchises.
