Damn...The Thing vs. Alien? That's a tough one...

Both were creepy as hell and made an imapct on me when I first saw them, but I must give the nod to Alien...That Gieger inspired shit was just too crazy.

Time's up...

In one of the narrowest of margins, a phenomenal movie surges ahead by 1 vote to win against another equally phenomenal flick!!

WINNER OF THE BIG SPACE OF HORRORS TOURNAMENT

In Space...
No One Can Hear You Scream...

ALIEN

which beat John Carpenter's awesome cult classic THE THING in the narrowest of margins, winning 9-8!!

We had a predict-the-winner contest in PMs to me in the middle of the tourney. Lets see who predicted which movie would win, and how many predictions were correct in the end.
The winner(s) would get a chance to suggest my next tournament in a separate PM, and submit their choices of movies which they think should be included in that tournament.

The Return - Alien(WINNER)

persuasian70 - Alien (WINNER)

Dante's Inferno - Alien (WINNER)

Yeti13 - Alien (WINNER)

Austin316426808 - The Thing

MissOlivia - Aliens

Congratulations to the winner(s)! Since there is more than 1 winner, all 4 of you automatically qualify to suggest the next tourney to me on separate PMs. I will research into it and then start the new tourney of the most interesting choice out of all the 4. But for now, I am taking a break for awhile.

Thanks to all who voted to make my 2nd tournament a hugely successful one. Again thanks to bwind22, Dante, MissOlivia, Entity and most of all, The_Return, for their invaulable inputs and suggestions throughout the tourney which made it another resounding success. Thank you guys, you all rock! :)

***TOURNAMENT CLOSED***

Yeah, but most of us have already seen it WAY too many times...I think I'd rather watch Event Horizon over again....And I would LOVE to see that one I watched a long time ago, that I keep forgetting the name of...Where the people die by what they are afraid of...You guys told me once, but I already forgot again, because I couldn't find it :( :o
