assumning you mean what horror references, there's wax figures or things relating to: the invisible man, jack the ripper, the thing (i think) it's alive, littles shop of horrors, the evil dead 2 and night of the living dead. It's over 20 years since i've seen it, so there may be more. the film also contains mummies, werewolves and vampires and frankenstein, if (somewhat hazy) memory serves me right.

First and foremost, this is the film you are looking for: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096426/ http://www.filmsy.com/wp-content/upl...8/Waxwork1.jpg It is an awesome movie and stars Zach Galligan, of Gremlins fame. I don't remember references from it's alive, LSOH, or Evil Dead 2 but it has been quite a while since I have seen it in its entirety, although I did watch bits and pieces of it on Fearnet not all that long ago and don't remember seeing any of those. Mummies, dracula, werewolves yes. Integral to the plot, actually. Now, I think where the confusion is coming in is the "remake" which is actually, I am assuming, THIS film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397065/ http://a1608.g.akamai.net/7/1608/117...mt045504H1.jpg Which is NOT a remake of Waxwork but, rather, a remake of a 1953 film of the same name. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045888/ http://www.cryptofthedead.com/images/HouseOfWax.jpg In these films a guy who owns a wax house turns the victims in to wax statues by....well....pouring wax in and on them. Kinda like taxidermy, I guess. I have never seen either film, because one is 57 years old, and one stars Paris Hilton, but I am 99% sure none of the wax scenes actually come to life in them. Waxwork, the film you seem to be looking for, is a very fun film, if you don't mind it being dated. |

the film i'm talking about is the Zach Galligan one, regarding the refereces, i suspect that you are right and i'm wrong, i think the 'evil dead 2' reference thing, is a dismemebred hand, though i suppose it could be a reference to films like 'the hand'; i also think the 'lSOH' plant thing may have being a reference to the 'invasion of the bodysnatchers' . I also read somewhere that they were going to put waxworks of freddy and jason in the film, but for some reason or other, they didn't (copyright worries perhaps?). anywho, thanks for the info and the reply.
P.S do you remeber the marquis de sade scene, very sexy, though i'm perhaps in a minority regarding that! |
Hellp! What's the title? Killer cock. Pictures provided.
Hi,
Could anyone help me with the horror about a certain killer creature pictured on one of the shots below? I watched it about a year ago on Zone Horror channel, late in the night... Looked everywhere but no luck. Thx! http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/4426/image038ot.th.jpg http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/403/image040e.th.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5...age042c.th.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2...age048s.th.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/4...age058w.th.jpg |
I'll show you a killer cock.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But seriously, there are a couple I know of, although I have never had the...honor?...of seeing either. One is called Soul Vengeance and one is called One-Eyed Monster. Soul Vengeance is a 70s film, One-Eyed Monster is recent. |
The Item? Brain Damage?
