ok - this seems like such a potentially interesting idea i had to wake from my slumber (i'm also back from vacation thanks for asking).


why not a film that interweaves vignettes from different locations and with different people. imagine a major global catastrophe (dead rising is the obvious but maybe too overdone) and then a film shows the different perspectives on that event from different locations and even in different styles. i'm thinking in a way of that film Paris j'taime. what if you had a series of vignettes from different (HDC) filmmakers all addressing the same global thing (rise of dead, alien invasion, satan's emergence, whatever). everyone could shoot what they want in their own way and in their own space, chapters could then either be collected by someone and edited together or just lined up in youtube under the same account.

this could work.

That is actually a brilliant idea!!:D A zombie apocalypse or outbreak worldwide would be awesome to watch!
