Picked up the 50 Horror Classics and 50 Chilling Classics set, I have a lot of them but some were great to pick up (and cheap too!).

Can't wait until May though... a new Fletch DVD is coming woohoo! (Get the money for your oop Fletch on EBay now folks.)

GetrDone 01-31-2007 11:26 PM

I'd advise to put it on a buy it now on ebay if you have it because everyone else will catch on fast and the price will drop like its hot.

Intruder is fuckin' dope. I don't like the packaging of the R1 DVD I don't know why they didn't stick with the original cover art.

"Accion Mutante" was a real funny film(best part the first 45 minutes), but I still think that the best film of Alex De la Iglesia was "EL dia de la bestia" with a great ost too.

I consider the first 3 some of his best ever. I would rather have had Incredible Mr Limpet instead of The Love God I believe (I've never seen The Love God so maybe I'll like it.)

Actually, I bought them all for my director - it just seemed like such a red letter day for me, buying 4 DVDs all at once:D

Se7en (2-Disc Platinum Edition)

To this day, I've never seen Se7en. I treated myself...Target had this on sale for $10 this week.

joshaube 02-01-2007 03:35 PM

I hate how Americans get such good deals on DVDs. I'd be lucky to even find Se7en (2-disc) around here, let alone pay less then 40$ for it. No joke.

I know what you mean dude.

CD Plus has it for around $50:eek:

I try to make a day trip down to the states as often as possible (twice a year or so, haha), and always make sure to hit Best Buy and Borders. One of the last times I was down I grabbed the Mexico Trilogy boxset for $15 US - it runs around $45 CDN:rolleyes:

Anyway, you'll LOVE Se7en dude. Hopefully nobody has ruined it for you...still an awesome movie, but man - what a kickass ending.

joshaube 02-01-2007 04:39 PM

Did you just head into Maine? I might have to convince my parents to let me borrow the car to take a daytrip.

Amen for that, here I find on small dvd store the special edition of Se7en (region one two disc) for 40 Euros.....and it hasn't subtitles on spanish. And now we've got a Region two special edition of sScape from NY, just one disc without any other extra material than a fuckin' trailer and audio comentaries from Carpenter. No makin off and eliminated secuences like the region one Special edition. BLAME SPAIN!!!

Sadly, I've yet to do so, plan to this weekend.

Have you? or were you asking for my opinion of it, as I am yours?
