Remake of Creature from Lagoon

Is there any info out there for this? I heard there is going to be a remake but, I have no info. I really hope they don't make a re-make. I love the old one. They will just ruin the movie by throwing in shotguns, explosions and lots of action. Horror movies shouldn't have action. I hate Underworld, Blade, All of those action movies. When did fucking vampires and werewolves shoot guns? If they made it where it happened at the same time period as the old one i might just like it. I also hope they don't make it all suspenseful. I wan't a horror movie not a suspense movie.

True. It would be a good movie if they kept it set in the 50's.
n ya wtf is it with vampires and guns these days? Fucking lazy screen writers is the trouble. If i owned a movie studio and i wanted to make a vampire movie ill make all the screen writers watch some classic vampire movies, dating from salom's lot back. Lewt them get a sense of what a real good vampire movie is about.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Creature From The Black Lagoon, I remember seeing the original as a kid and liked it.

I would love to see a remake of this one.I meen the originall was good for its day but you can pretty much see the zipper on the GillMan or FishMan or whatever they called it.

JC would be the one who might be able to pull it off. Don't mean Jesus. LOL!

I would be interested in that case. Could be unimaginably bad though.....total dog potential.

In my personal opinion, this was the worst of the Universal monster calssics, but still a kick-ass movie

Guierrmo Del Toro was kicking around the idea for a while, but he decided against it. I would have been very into a remake had he been the director. I am not sure where the idea sits as of now.
