Like that great Geico horror movie commercial..things not to do.

Don't throw down your: sword, gun, baseball bat, crowbar etc after you've knocked out the monster..especially within his reach.

...

If you think someone or some thing is in the house, don't *not* turn on the light as you explore the threat.

I know, its like "There's a light switch right beside you, flood the hallway with light..turn on every light in the house!

And if you've outrun the zombies and entered the safety of a building don't stand backed up against a window, breathing heavy and looking wildly around the room.

Oh yeah, that's a good one.

On a more general but similar note, don't slowly walk backwards in a confined space when someone unseen is after you.

Don't utter anybody's name 3 times in front of a mirror. Don't read outloud any writing from a spell book or the book of the dead, especially on Halloween night. Don't play any records backwards.




Come to think of it though...we wouldn't have a lot of horror films if people didn't do these very things! ::shocked::

Don't run up the stairs when the only thing you can do is jump out of a window; you might not know how high you are and you might not know what's waiting for you on the ground.

Don't run to the basement when there usually is NO where to go and you end up being stuck there or killed there.

My very favorite: don't go screaming into the woods so that everyone and everything can hear you!! It's like saying 'hey, I'm right here, come kill me!!'.

We can go an and on with this stuff......
