Haven't seen it yet. was it any good??

xI_dork_Ix 11-01-2004 08:56 AM

I saw the movie twice. I thought it was pretty good. I haven't seen a movie with that type of motive or plot. So it was interesting.

i would really truly hope they wouldnt do a sequel. its so beautiful as it is

KRUGERKID13 11-06-2004 02:37 PM

theyve already announced a sequal got to www.upcominghorrormovies.com

release date of oct. 28 2005 is the only news though

Shade 11-06-2004 04:58 PM

I loved this movie. I went to see saw twice...hehe...sorry, bad Shade! No puns! No puns! But I can honestly say that I would despise a sequal. I mean come on. The entire movie built up to one amazing ending. The mystery and suspence just isn't there if you continue it. Sequals kill movies.

Cheeba V2.0 11-06-2004 06:55 PM

"Sequals kill movies."

- Yes, they do...but they also make money off the good people that are gullible/optimistic enough to think that just maybe it'll be half as good as the first one, as they liked that too...As long as this is the case, Sequel-Land remains open all hours.

Not that ALL sequels are bad...we almost inevitably end up watching sequals to the films we love eventually, regardless.

deftones6 11-06-2004 07:44 PM

actually, I heard that they are going to make s sequel and have it ready for Halloween '05.....

tachii 11-09-2004 06:05 AM

goddamn! i haven't had a chance to catch the first one yet and already another, is this serious?

MichaelMyers 11-09-2004 04:26 PM

Oh boy...I smell a franchise...

ABnormaL 11-11-2004 03:26 AM

Aw! there's no way a sequel could beat that! I thought the movie was brilliant! A second would just ruin the first..:(

Hate_Breeder 11-11-2004 07:39 PM

Havent seen the first, although i plan to. I heard it was excellent and kept you guessing. But maybe we need a new franchise. New horror has been sucking moose balls lately. I have heard from everyon that i spoke to that it was awesome.

tom-tom 11-24-2004 03:14 AM

i thought the movie was cool...i espically liked the part when the doc went crazy and began sawing his leg off. EXCELLENT!

bwind22 11-24-2004 04:37 AM

Wow! My opinion is just about the exact opposite of everyone elses here.

I didn't really like the first one. It started good, had a lot of potential... Then by the end, there were so many unfilled plotholes, I was left like... "What the fuck, that was stupid."

I think a sequal is very neccesary to this movie because the first one didn't really explain shit well.

Don't get me wrong, 'SAW' was pretty good for a modern horror movie, but it wasn't as cool as they made it look in the trailers. (Still better than Seed of Chucky though.)

_Leatha_Face_ 11-25-2004 11:31 AM

it'll never be as good as the first IMO

MichaelMyers 11-25-2004 11:39 AM

Rumored title is "Saw II: Sawer". That's almost as bad as Denist 2: BRACE YOURSELF.

Ghost 11-25-2004 12:47 PM

hm..i just wouldnt think it would be right.

If they go for a prequel I doubt it be too exciting & have all those kool self torture scenes because we already saw each scene from the first movie. If they go for a sequal it would be stupid because we know who the killer is & the whole aspect of finding out the killer would be major poo poo.
