Restaurant Prices
 

Sometimes I do not have time to cook something, or just have gotten sick of eating some cheap food I have cooked. So I'll go to a restaurant. Lately I have noticed a couple of occasions when a restaurant will charge me differently for the same thing ordered on two occasions. Like, my eggie breakfast one day will be $4.75, and the next day it'll be $5.25. For exactly the same thing! Would I be a jerk to bring this up? Usually the discrepancy is pretty small, and I figure someone has padded the bill so they can buy a can of cat food or something, so I don't bother. Should I bother these people? Would that be rude? Would I seem like a jerk? Sometimes I hear what sounds like snickering coming from the kitchens, but I can't be sure.

prices of everything are skyrocketing <_< makes it hard for people to get started in life /sigh

I ALWAYS determine how much my bill should be, based on the prices listed in the menu, and the sales tax...If it is incorrect, I kindly inform them of their mistake, they adjust it, and that's the end of it...It's really no big deal...Mistakes happen...

depends where you go, some resturansts charge too mauych, then I'm not to botheredd it fthe steak is cook properlynand tastestes good.

If you think they are ripping you off, go back and burn the fucking place to the ground. Make sure you bar the door so everyone inside can die a firey death....I.....nevermind.


Honestly what I have done is when I get shitty service or they do something like that I like to leave them a nickel for a tip. Kind of lets you know where you stand doesnt it.

EIther that or just skip out on the check.:p

nickle worksbut when i go out w/ my dad and the service is bad he just leaves a couple pennies. from he tells me its like a slap in the face and the worst . hes only done it once

if i ever got service that bad, i'd tell the person why i was pissed and why i was never coming back to the restaurant again.
if you leave a shitty tip the person just thinks that you are a cheap asshole.

I had a waiter at a chinese restauraunt (a white guy, mind you) bring us our food, but never brought me my drink. I called him 3 times and was ignored.

Later (MUCH later...) he brought me the check, and the drink weas on it. I said "Can i have my coke now?"

Waiter: "Oh, do you still want that?"

Me: "Well, seeing as how you have already charged me for it, yes."


He brought the coke, i took a sip, and we left a dime on the table. Fuck them. 25 bucks was too much for the food we got anyway, and the service blew. What do i care if they wont serve me again when i would never go back anyway?

there is one important thing ...
never and i mean NEVER give a bad waiter a hard time until the last of the food and drink has been delivered.

if you piss one off .. justifiable or not ... you dont want to risk eating what they bring to you next.
