you need more musicals

Movies like Identity, The Butterfly Effect, The Dead Zone and Seven are more of Psychological thrillers but sometimes more chilling than lot of horror movies.

Surely if you've got The Omen you need to add Damien:Omen 2 and Omen 3: The Final Conflict to complete the collection.

I havent seen angry anal #22 but i heard your acting was sub-par.

Heres my process for making a kickass horror collection [Im in the process of this, slowly but surely] :


1st, buy all the cheap ones you see in bargain bins at departement stores. Not always the greatest, but you can get some gems, and they fill up your collection.

Then, buy all of your favorites. Every movie you enjoy.

Then, buy what are considered the classics, many of which you already have. Movies like Psycho, Exorcist, Carrie, Shining, ect.

Then, once your done all that, to cap off your collection, get any and all sequels/remakes/spinoffs ect. to any and all movies you own. Be they good or not.

As more movies come out, and more movies stock those bargain bins, repeat as nessesary.

Personally, Im most of the way through step one, making headway on step two, and have a decent start on steps three and four:)

You could tape all those off the TV -

Work through horror magazines and make a lot of contacts instead, swap a lot of lists - then you can track down obscurities and rare movies you will not find on the high street.

Sounds good, The Return... I just dont wanna buy a lot of crap movies though from bargin bin. I do wanna wait to collect the sequels for later. Do I really need the other hundred Friday the 13ths. Nah.. I check the forum to see what movies are good and worthy. However, I got some movies that I dont necessarily like bc of their movie reputation.

Suggest some Oriental titles, then -

Red to Kill and The Untold Story will put hairs on yer chest.

And "Ju-on" and "one missed call" will make you lose the hair on your head. :eek: ;)

What about some more gallio and slashers...?
"Deep Red" and "Vidocq"....and "Terror Train" and "Sleepaway Camp"
...or some more asian "The Phone" and "Tell me Something"
....great collection by the way :)

May I suggest a couple of Italian titles I didn't read in your collection (if I just missed them, I beg your pardon ;)): "The house with the windows that laugh" and "Zeder", both by Pupi Avati.

American Gothic... whoa... 80s flashback... I used to remember seeing that poster cover in the old local video stores. Old Pitchfork couple. I'll check it out

The house by the cemetry

there are loads of good ones, mostly Italian

theres a great werewolf flick made in scotland called "Dog Soldiers"

How about some of the halloween catalogue? avoid 5 and ressurection though

And lastly get jack frost 1&2 very funny

But your collection so far is impressive

you could always put a few gore and nasties movies in. Go for the classics to start evil dead and Bad taste. Just to round off

i added a ton more of films from a lot of suggestions from here... thanks all.... its now around 115 horror films. My list is on my signature. i kinda wanna add more sci-fi/horror films... i already have alien, the thing.... I never seen Event Horizon. movies kinda like that.

Im too lazy to check if you already have it or not...but Predator is my recomendation

Agreed, long lists hurt my brain-case.

predator is definetly one of my favorite movies out there. got that as soon as i started collecting DVDs.

How bout Predator 2?
