What do you horror fans think about the Alien movies?
 

since they are some of the greatest movies ever made, i wanted to ask

Alien: Resurrection is the best movie ever

Alien>Aliens>Alien3>Hepatitis C>Alien: Resurrection

I like Alien and Aliens but the rest suck ass

hey, alien:ressurection was great, wats ur guy's beef with it. It had some GREAT death scenes. like when the guy pulled out a peice of his own brain.......LOL!!!

Alien and Aliens are classics, Alien 3 is a classic in its own way (just not as accessable), and Alien: Ressurection was an okay action movie, but a shitty Alien flick.

Granted, only Ian Holm and John Hurt were british, but it was Directed by Ridley Scott, and HE's british!

i have both versions of the quadrilogy :D

there is a couple of kids books - obviously from the UK called Bangers and Mash - about 2 little mischievious monkey brothers (called bangers and mash)... are they common in the UK ?

apparently in space no one can see you scream either ..
i was reading a book about movie antiicdotes and cliches and they mentioned alien as one of the first to show the space suits with the little lights inside the helmets that illuminate the characters face inside.

which would render them blind to everything outside the helmet in actuality -

they have their own Tv show over here... the kids are thoroughly spoilt.

They really are some pretty good films, but i couldn't help but laugh when the Predator put an ass whoopin on him in Alien vs. Predator!:p

I dont know...It(Alien 3)just feel very british...and "all" the actors speak british...To me that felt strange...

if you think thats strange, watch an american WWII movie where the germans are all played by british actors - with british accents.

Of the Alien Quadrology, my favorite are Alien and Aliens. The rest are ok but the first 2 are the best.

For sure the first two are fuckin' classics!

For those who feel that Alien and Aliens are the best in the series I compliment you. However, Alien 3 was o.k., the only thing good about it was that it perfectly ended the series. Alien Resurrection. Hmmm.... Nope, I'd have to say that this film licked major balls b/c we didn't need it! I mean common, they cloned Riply after she died in a pit of fire basicly, you expect me to believe that even in the future they got a DNA sample from that! Sure for violence factor sure it was decient, but story, hell fucking no!!! They even made the aliens roar! The aliens always hissed in the first 3!!! I hate the roar b/c its too Jurassic Park!
And then AVP should never have happened.

I'm sorry but Ridly Scott and Cameron had the only good films of the series.

No way, AvP HAD to happen!!! It just turned out that it licked a whole bunch assholes in a row.

Like, the assholes were lined up in a room and AvP just stuck its tongue out and ran down the line....

I like Aliens, I enjoyed the first one but not as much as number two.

Resurrection is also pretty cool:)
