I've had it predordered at Deep Discount DVD pretty much since they've had it up for pre-order. This series (along with any possible future complete Three Stooges set) is the only one I'll pre-order price unseen. I don't care what the larger seasons cost, I'm throwing down my Credit Card like it's goin' out of style.

The tales from the crypyt set from ALL of the seasons has been out for a while. do a search on ebay.... its like a 22 DVD set that i saw about 6 months ago... unless those were bootlegs i've been seeing. Anyways, season 1 of TFTC were going for about 17 bucks on ebay.

I just found the complete 8 season-series set on 22 DVDs for $84. It comes in nice box setup and has menu screens and all.

I would much rather pay 84 bucks for 8 seasons than 20-30 dollars for 1 season.

And now, season 2 will be released on October 25, just in time for Halloween!

Preordering from Deep Discount DVD was the way to go. Mine came in the mail today!!! Guess what I'll be doing for the rest of the night... :D

Theres an awesome rental place near me that gets boxsets almost as soon as they come out, Ill probably rent this next week. Ive never seen a single episode [it was before my time], but it sounds like a kickass series:)

I bought my copy when I was down in Ohio for $20. Great price if u ask me! My favorite episode on that is still "The Man Who Was Death". Still have to watch the last two episodes though.

In my opinion, these sets are a definite must have. The "Tales from the Crypt" series certainly isn't the best horror that's ever been put on the screen. However, they're definately entertaining and the guest stars add to their appeal. Plus, they remind me of when I was younger and I wasn't allowed to watch them so I had to sneak around to do so ;) What a rebel.:rolleyes:

I got thru the first season in a couple of nights, and look forward to season 2 in October :)
