knife_fight 01-19-2006 01:44 PM

Mountain Pepper, or the more popular nym, "Dr. Dew."

1 part Dr.
to
2 parts Dew.

Marroe 01-19-2006 01:54 PM

I used to mix Fresca and Sprite, but they don't seem to have Fresca in the fountain anymore. :(

I work with a lady who puts peanuts in her Pepsi...is that normal?

The STE 01-19-2006 01:55 PM

ew, no.

I usually mix Fanta cherry and Coke together, and people around here mix peanuts and Pepsi or Coke...

Marroe 01-19-2006 02:00 PM

I've heard it was a "southern" thing....guess they were right.

On the subject....you know why QT kicks ass? Because with their fountain mixers they actually use carbonation, and good flavor. The other places, where I work for example, just use a nasty syrup. Yup, QT kicks ass.

that, and their gas is usually the cheapest, and they have shredded beef jerky

knife_fight 01-19-2006 02:04 PM

peanuts in Coke is fairly common... around here anyway.

and no self-respecting southerner would ever be caught dead drinking, ick, "Pepsi"

The STE 01-19-2006 02:06 PM

really? Cause Pepsi seems like it's a big Nascar sponsor

I didn't know that, but I'm sure they are doing that to try and aim at the southern market.

and I did say "self respecting" southerner.

The_Return 01-19-2006 02:31 PM

Pure, unadulterated Coca-Cola goodness for me:D

Marroe 01-19-2006 02:33 PM

Coke is just too bubbley. I can ONLY drink it fountain. Why's everyone hatin on Pepsi?

The_Return 01-19-2006 02:34 PM

It basically just tastes like flat coke, IMO.

The STE 01-19-2006 02:34 PM

cause Pepsi's too syrupy. It tastes like Coke flavored Kool-Aid

doesn't taste flat, but it is a lot LESS bubbley. Coke makes you burp too much.

maybe you're just gassy by nature

Haunted 01-19-2006 03:27 PM

I like Pepsi. As a matter of fact, I'm drinking a Pepsi. I also like Coke... Okay, I like soda, period. I used to mix Hi C and Sprite when I went to Subway. When I was little, we used to go to skating rinks for birthdays. They had this drink called a Suicide... it was all the most caffeinated beverages except Jolt.

Now someone tell me: Does Vault have more power than Jolt?

Pepsi and peanuts is a Southern flaw.

filmmaker2 01-19-2006 03:29 PM

I like Pepsi and I also like SAYING "Pepsi"

pepsi pepsi pepsi

Correct-a-mundo Sammy, me lad! I have not seen a Spanish-language Pepsi commercial. I'm too lazy to flip that far into the HDTV network channels. Now answer my question. Why is it so damn funny?:D :p

Oh, and Stubborn, would you mind not telling us stories about peanut back-wash? Huge penises, ugly people, butt sex, pussy-eating, are all acceptable but no back-wash.:p

novakru 01-19-2006 03:44 PM

All your insides are rotting, you soda pop junkies:D

I used to really like Dr.Pepper and drank Coke occasionally.
I still like Mello Yellow.
When I was living up in PA-couldn't find Mellow Yellow to save my life.

Haunted 01-19-2006 03:46 PM

Of coursel, Nova, us gals in NC have the secret weapon: Sundrop!

novakru 01-19-2006 03:52 PM

I forgot about Sundrop.

Hey Haunted-way off the subject... but have you seen the new campaign to get North Carolinains(sp?) out to tourist our own state?
I liked the other one better-"Everything's Closer":D

VampiricClown 01-19-2006 03:54 PM

I have not seen that. Mostly because I only read the funnies, and my folks have the tv constantly tuned to Fox News (fair and unbiased my butt). I've seen a good deal of the state, but I want to go to New Burn (Witch cap. of the US, because of the Frosts, who are idiots, but what can you do?).

I most quote a Witch of great standing, "Last thing we need is foreign parts up close," Granny Weatherwax.:D

Haunted, I don't think "Vault" can have more stuff in there than Jolt would. If I recall correctly, Jolt has the maximum allowable amount of caffiene that can be sold in a soft drink as per the FDA.

I drink both, but I I'd rather drink Pepsi than Coke. For some reason, on occasion, Coke sometimes seems gives me heartburn. My favorite is Dr. Pepper, but simply for caffeine, I'll quickly slug down a liter of Mountain Dew, perferrably Jolt if it's around. If I really need a super kick, I'll run to the local General Nutrition Center and grab one of those extreme caffinated sport drinks if it's available. 200 milligrams of wide-awakedness.
It's sad GNC can't get "Beta Blast" anymore. That stuff was potent! 200 milligrams of caffeine, 200 milligrams of mauhung extract, and 25 milligrams of the actual effidra alkoloid. If you drank a bottle of that shit, no matter how tired you were, you were awake. If you did a goof like I did and drank two bottles in one sitting, most likely you'd wind up having shakes, let alone "the jitters". :D

LMAO! :D Nice comparison between back-wash to hardcore sex and genitalia. lol

orangestar 01-19-2006 07:04 PM

I'm a Pepsi girl, but only because I was raised on it. I like Diet Coke, but regular is too bubbly.

RavageRitual 01-19-2006 07:35 PM

Yea, I call em "graveyards" My fav mix is Dr. Pepper, Fango Orange, and Blue Powerade. Yumm:D

ItsAlive75 01-19-2006 07:38 PM

Remember Jolt x2? I dunno if they still sell it, but that shit was the high for kids who couldn't score booze or weed.

filmmaker2 01-19-2006 07:52 PM

Okay-------how about CACTUS COOLER.

Serious. I'm serious.

Used to drink a can of that every day when I was in high school.

There was a machine in the locker room and after Phys Ed I would put forty-five cents in the machine and bingo. Every friggin day, Cactus Cooler. When it was time to finish high school, I said, "Done. No more o' that." And I walked away from the machine, and away from the Cactus Cooler, more or less for good. No more of its orangey pineapple-flavored goodness, so sweet, so bright and crispy and full of life.

I think I've only had two or three cans since then, and that was.....................20 years ago.
