My memory's been jogged a bit, and now I that I think of it, some of Jess Franco's movies like Female Vampire and Vampyros Lesbos had some pretty good sex scenes too.

I liked the scene at the end of "Godzilla 2000" when the bad monster tries to swallow Godzilla's essence by wrapping its mouth around him, but he sprays Godzilla fire inside the monster and blows it up. Very bizarre. I don't know what they were thinking but it's pretty weird-looking and I seem to recall having some similar evenings from time to time.
