Man, I thought jeepers creepers was tha shit! (that means good)
untill of course, well, it ended HALF WAY THROUGH THE STORY...
i'll still see part 2 though...

terribley under ratet of course, i cant remember hearing a good thing about it untill i said a few things about it myself, for one thing the jeepers creepers beast itself... did that look good or did that look good?
they had theyr fare share of suspence to it to.

and I gotta admit, it was one of the few "oldskool" kinda horrors that are out there nowdays...or should I say one of the 2% of horror movies to come out post 90's that ISN'T a scream clone...

great movie all and all, apart from the end, some ppl dig cliffhanger/unfunished ends, but in this case, I'd have liked to see more....I couldn't help having thought that they must've run outta budget towards the end...I loved pretty much everything else tho...and how he walked out with the "cat" woman...loved it...the scene where he gets a dose of road rage, multiple times, man, I hadn't laughed so hard in a cinema in years!

true indeed... i altso loved how everything seamed to happen in the background, so you had to notice it yourself.

Clive Barker called it "the most stylish horror film in years" and he wasn't lieing.

yea this movie was pretty good , im just hoping the sequel is as good as the 1st one it comes out tuesday

Um...well.

It was okay. I liked the "Ahab" character. Don't expect a horror classic and you might not be disappointed. Don't expect it to be as good as the first is what I'm saying.:D

Yeah, I haven't seen the sequel yet, but I HAVE heard it wasn't as good...I mean, to those who haven't seen it, does the second one TOTALLY suck, or is it still, like, ok?
I guess as long as it isn't as bad as the wishmaster sequels (although the 3rd was "barely" ok) it'll be alright...

Don't worry Cheeb, it doesn't compare to the shittiness of the Wishmaster sequels. I saw it at the dollar movie and it was worth it. It has its moments, but it has "what the crap?" parts too.

I personally love this movie... But I am not to keen to the 2nd one...

Jeepers Creepers was freaky as hell and it kept me interested... unlike most new horror movies...

no, ppl were talking about this movie they just weren't saying anything good and really there's not too much that's good about the movie. OLD SCHOOL HORROR LIKE SCREAM!!?? are you kidding me?! what are you, like twelve? if you thought scream was the bomb there are lots of other really good horror movies out there that came before that one..but if that one was old school to you movies like halloween are probably considered ancient and vincent price movies are probably dinosaurs in your world. jeepers creepers had so many plot holes it's not even funny. a masterpiece...HA!

did you all not already see the two threads that i have dedicated to this movie...you can wait all day if you like but you can just look for those threads...how about this for a plot hole..it made NO SENSE! at least w/ other horror movies there's some type of an explaination....all it is is a lot of hype and NO story!

I haven't seen it, but I just orderred it together with friday the 13th on dvd, that still leaves me only to get jason goes to hell in the friday series

You still haven't convinced me of any plotholes. Plenty of great horror films don't really have a good explanation. Sometimes that can work to the benefit of a film. I'm not saying Jeepers didn't have an explanation though.

jeepers creepers is a stupid fuckin movie

When I rented this, I was expecting it to be mildly entertaining and poorly made, but boy was I wrong!

It had some seriously suspenseful moments in it and it is one of the few movies that I will admit actually scared me!

And was the beast awesome looking or what?

I loved this movie 8/10 !!

Great movie. Even BETTER story line. Spectacular mood (especially at the beginning).

Definately deserves some recognision. I firmly believe the people that watched this movie and gave it bad reviews just aren't true horror fans, so their opinion doesn't count anyway.

As far as Jeepers Creepers 2. Was also a pretty decent movie although I kind of expected it to have a bit more "mystery" to it like the first did. The first made you ask questions and wonder a lot of things and left room for a lot of imagination. Two just seemed to kind of lack that a bit.

All in all though Jeepers Creepers 2 was a decent movie. The first deserves at least a 8 out of 10 if only for the great story, mood and originality.

Agreed...."mood" the FIRST film had in spades...
I didn't much like the "changes" they made to the Creeper in the 2nd film namely, sorry moonsorrow, but I think they humourised him too much, and yknow, it just didn't "feel" right to have him throwing things...
So....what do you guys think is more likely?
a- Jeepers Creepers Prequel: The Arrival (my title...)
b- Jeepers Creepers 3: 23 Years Later
c- Jeepers Creepers 3, about a whole different Creeper, or, even CreeperS...???

I would say it would be most likely that they make a prequel. That is the router I would think the studios and writers would want to go.

"23 years later" has been done with Jeepers Creepers 2. The present and an establishing story has been done with Jeepers Creepers. Now everyone wants to know where he came from and to answer some questions.

noooo, I think that's where youre wrong, Jeepers 2 was about the 23rd day of the same "feeding period" as the first film....

seing a medevial setting around this guy would be pretty cool wouldnt it? how it came to be maby? or just watching him kick some knights around the round table.

the 1st one was great, it had suspense in bucketfuls, the first time they saw the creeper and he looked at them has to be my fave moment...because of the mystery

the 2nd was an average film, not as good as the first IMO. it only had a few scary moments and was more of an action movie in some parts (the postomatic 2000 that the farmer uses as a harpoon), and i hated the acting in the 2nd movie...the attempt to bring the theme of racism in was poorly done. there was not much mystery this time around.

as a fan of fantasy, i agree it would be cool..aslong as the acting was good, if theyre gonna make a medieval movie the acting has to be realistic.

..aslong as they dont go down the LOTR path and make like a CGI army of humans against an army of creepers lol..they should focus more on individual characters like in the first one.....lol, would the creeper have a dirty, souped-up CARRIAGE instead of his car????

O my god I hated this film!! sorry to anyone who likes it but I really thought it was bloody crap...just another teen horror flick...

Probably scary if your about 12 i reckon...
