The new Wicker Man is so bad it hurt. Crappy dialogue, clunky exposition, TV movie acting, shitty soundtrack, a wasted Nic Cage, and NOT SCARY AT ALL.

I am going to bleach my retinas.

I had completely forgotten they were remaking this until I saw commercials the other day. the commercials made me ill and they were only 90 seconds. I think having to sit through the full length version would probably be the end of me.

Well I'll still see it just to laugh at Nick Cage running around in a bear suit.

The thing is, cos the original was so individual and distinctive, they could have done something to make it completely different - more of an 'influenced by' than a remake. It's just a half-updated, half-not version, but with none of the suspense of fear.

ItsAlive, if you must watch it, wait for the DVD.

I'd rather pay the $5.50 for the ticket than the $27.99 for the DVD.

Going tonight with some friends...loooks like crap, but should be good for a laugh.

How about $1.50 to rent it?

Ya...this sucked more than Paris Hilton.

It was, however, absolutly hilarious (Unintentionally, of course). Nick Cage going apeshit in a bear suit had me rolling on the floor.

Ironic that many remakes tend to be of movies that least needed to be remade.
