Horror Movies at Wal-Mart!

I just got back from Wal-Mart and they have a bunch of horror movies for $4.88 and a whole section of Asian Exteme movies for $8.88!

I bought a bunch:

The Changeling $4.88
House of Wax - original - $4.88
Snow White a Tale of Terror $4.88
Prince of Darkness - $4.88
The Heirloom - $8.88
Dead Waves - $8.88
Wolf Creek - Which wasn't on sale but was $13.88

I haven't seen any of them, so don't tell me if they are bad or not! Oh, excelpt for House of Wax which is my favorite Vincet Price movie!

I might have to go by Wallmart tommorow and see what they have.

evildemontoo 10-08-2006 03:39 PM

There were actually special setups just for the scary movies, they weren't mixed in with all the others. Check it out. I get paid this week and I'm going back!

JP500 10-08-2006 03:42 PM

I've got about a hundred bucks from relatives(birthdays coming up)so I should be able to buy a shit load of them.Hopefully my wallmart will have similar stuff.

evildemontoo 10-08-2006 03:47 PM

Alot of people hate it (ie: IMDB), but I really enjoyed it. Cool ending.

A lot of people hated Dead End, House of 1000 Corpses, The Grudge, etc. But I found them interesting. I'm going to be taking it on vacation to watch. I can't wait actually. :D

evildemontoo 10-08-2006 06:06 PM

I saw Ghost of Endedale but never heard of it, let me know if you like it!

I refuse to support Wal-Mart's quest for world domination.

They have a mcdonalds in every walmart, as if the space wasn't tight enough without all the poor people rushing to stock up on packs of underwear.

hitman3005 10-20-2006 09:24 PM

Hell, our Wal-mart has went thru a Mcdonalds, Krispy Kreme, Candy store, and now a Subway.

AmericanManiac 10-21-2006 12:46 PM

We don't have a Crackarnolds in our wally world, we have a subway so all the poor people can eat healthy for about $10 a sandwhich.

orangestar 10-21-2006 12:55 PM

I just got The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Mothman Prophecies together for like $12.50

We have 2 SUPER Walmarts, open 24 hours, within 10 minutes of my house (one to the northeast and one to the southwest), at least they're in opposite directions...There is also a regular Walmart 20 minutes to the north (in Cincinnati)

Anyway...The one to the northeast and the one in Cincinnati has a Subway...The one to the Southwest has a Blimpy's...Blimpy's is pretty much the same as Subway, except that it sucks SO bad, and it costs more than Subway

I guess the restaurant you get depends on the preferences of the the majority of the people where you live...Or maybe it's income based...Kinda like, if you live in a lower income area, you get a McDonald's so people can afford to eat there...I don't know how they decide that

Heh...Maybe the Walmart in Beverly Hills has a Château La Maisson in it...lol...And before you say, "I seriously don't think there's a Walmart in Beverly Hills", don't be so sure...They are EVERYWHERE...It's insidious...

Oh yeah...In keeping with the topic of the thread...All of our Walmarts put together have a shitload of awesome horror movies at the moment...Unfortunately, I already own almost all of the ones they have...I was very surprised to see that they have about 30 different Asian horror movies (that I do NOT own) for about $5 each:eek:

The_Return 10-22-2006 04:23 PM

The bargain bin here was pretty disapointing, only 5-6 that I didnt already have, and only 2 that sounded worth buying.
