Name this old movie
 

Probably pretty obscure. It's like a cheesy 70's, possibly British, evil horror where this guy goes to a mansion where there is a guy who's sister believes he is possessed by evil. The guy denies being evil while he is being investigated. He finds this underground cavern on his property where there is an altar and some demonic gorilla like beast. At the climax he discovers there are a bunch of women (some bare breasted) and midgets and others in red robes having some orgy-like ceremony where they're going to sacrifice a girl. One of the guys pretends he is going to carry out the sacrifice, but it turns out he was just acting and throws holy water on their leader and then pulls out a gun and shoots him. Asmadeus is mentioned somewhere. A succubus or something visits one of the guys toward the begging. It's in color. Hope someone knows.:o

Yeah. I saw it on TV about a year ago. It might have been on Fox Movie Channel. It was so bizarre, I have to see it again.:D

i havent seen it in years but something in the description reminds me of Land of The Minotaur (i'm pretty sure part of it it took place in an underground cavern - with an altar)

I also remember there was a painting in the mansion that had a red "A" in the corner and they came to the conclusion that it stood for "Asmadeus". The painting was shown again at the end of the movie.

Definitely not it, no minotaur in it.

There was a guy in a gorilla demon suit that lived in the room with the altar in it. The room was behind a large set of doors that was previously shut and sealed with a large gold amulet type object. I think they found the amulet in the hands of a man who was squished dead behind one of the doors when he removed the seal. When they go inside the room to explore, they encounter the gorilla demon creature. The creature cannot get close to the men because they are carrying the amulet and it is repelled by it.

The people in the satanic ceremony scene I described look similar to the those in Devil's Rain.

reminds me of another movie which I had seen awhile back...
