Ok,
So I've already made it abundantly clear that the stupid bullshit going on in here annoys me somewhat. Good threads killed or buried by an avalanche of rubbish...I actually stopped and thought about making a really good thread in every part of the forum, even thought about posting a thread suggesting all the longtime (and decent new) members do the same...but right now, I'm just gonna say "fuck it". Simply because - For every good, creative, or interesting topic the lot of us could bring up, a completely fucking inept, stupid, "do you like cheese?" "why won't my square block fit through the round hole?" "Did you know that my electric razor gives a closer shave than rubbing my face with butter?" kind've annoying counterpart would appear elsewhere, not to mention the inevitable invasion of the decent threads too.

BR, I know you're probably convinced that I've been on your back about all this...I just want to point out that just because you're the only one that's every really around the place, I wasn't ever referring specifically to you.
I will say though, that you have acknowledged numerous times that you fear action taken would not meet with the approval of certain people - I wouldn't worry so much about it, not while you can't IP ban...because you're not really putting anyone on permanent exile.
Think about it this way - An officer of the law sees somebody being beaten down, and goes to arrest the person dealing out the assault. The person sees them, and stops. Just as they're slapping on the cuffs, a couple of clearly stupid people rock up and say "but it's ok now, he's stopped! - don't be such a fucking nazi! Boooo!"...Do you think the officer ought to let the guy walk?
I'm thinking not.
As for "horror" potentially giving you static about it - fuck him/her/it - Being as it is that they're never around even when directly requested by their chosen mods, I doubt any of your actions would ever be scrutiny by that person, so...I say feel free to use the "powers" bestowed upon you as you see fit.

If ANY of the mods are concerned about any potential action they're taking, it would seem that they need to start talking to eachother a little more...If you're not making a complete dick call, I would imagine that you can lend the support, if needed. Just my take.

So anyways,
I can't help but feel that regardless of this all being obvious to me, I'm part of the problem here. Why? Because yes, I openly admit it annoys me, and I let it be known. So, among others, sometimes I make a thread to express my concern with the situation...sometimes I'll post in theirs even trying to appeal to them, sometimes to rip into them.
Even my good threads and posts...are essentially part of the problem, in that they're just one more place to invade and spread ridiculous shit.
I've made the decision to step off for a while.
Not neccessarily permenantly, but I couldn't give a definitive statement to the contrary right now.
Anyway, I hope things manage to change around here...I don't think it's beyond happening. But, for now, I'm out.

My lack of posting has a couple of reasons.

1. My boss can be a dick sometimes and daily posting has to be discreet.
