what do you think is the best fight scene of all time, (excluding gunfights).
sword fights, hand to hand, which ever. what do you think is the best?

Right now I say the best of all time has to be the hallway fight in Oldboy. beautifully coreographed. (sp?)

The big school catfight in Project A-Ko.

The last fight in Bloodsport. :cool:

The end of American ninja or casey jones and Raphael in the first turtles movie....

the final fight sequence in enter the dragon. the knife fight in saving private ryan is intense.

Kill Bill has a lot of pretty rad fights too. Same with Fight Club. And I gotta agree with Swiss Tony on the knife fight in SPR. That was brutal. And let's not forget Rocky Balboa vs. Ivan Drago in Rocky 4 or Daniel-san vs. Johnny Cobra in Karate Kid. :)

My favs are the Neo and Morpheus sparring session, Bruce lee & chuck norris in return of the dragon, the showdown at house of blue leaves from kill bill vol 1 fraddy vs jason and just about any fight scene from kungfu hustle

I liked all the fights from the rocky movies the best.

Excluding gunfights...

Kung-fu Hustle. Pretty much the whole damn movie.:cool:

i also like jet li's deadly china hero, when he beats up the bum without getting out of his chair.:)

the intro to unleashed was cool.

havent seen the protector, but i know there has to be some in there.

i also like the beginning of blade 1, in the slaughter house when he kicks all the vampires asses and molests tracy lords with a shotgun handle.

I loved this damn movie!!!!

Any fight scene in Drunken Master is pretty sweet too.

Yep...Kung Fu Hustle was so much fun, I went back again and dragged a friend with me so he could see some of that crazy stuff.

the punch up at the end of the quiet man. but then i'm irish so i would say that.

Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi's graceful combat in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
The Bride slices and dices the crazy 88 in Kill Bill Vol 1.
Any of the Brawls from the Warriors.
The street chase/fight in Ong-Bak.
Bruce Lee vs Kareem in Game of Death.
Rocky vs Drago in Rocky IV.
Rocky vs Clubber Lang in Rocky III.
Rocky vs Apollo Creed in Rocky.
Spoon vs Werewolf in Dog Soldiers.

The skirmishes between Neo and Agent Smith in all 3 Matrix movies.
The final fight between Schwarzenegger and Vernon Wells in Commando. ("Let off some steam, Bennett")

Doesn't beat the knife fight in SPL (Sha Po Lang). ;) Damn awsome final fight in that movie as well.

The "oil" scene in the transporter.
I guess the 3-way in SW:E1 was pretty well done.

Oh, and pretty much ALL the spiderman vs Doc Ock fights in spiderman 2...I thought they were done so well.. up and down the side of the buildings, in he back, on and throughout the train, they were just great to watch.

Why.. Kill Bill v.1 is the number one for me, the blue leaf house, amazing.

#2 is Kill Bill v.2 with daryl hannah in the trailer, it's just so goofy and random what they fight with.

#3 The lobby room in Matrix reloaded, with all the swords and axes and stuff.

The movie long battle between the two characters of 2LDK. The final (sword) fight of Equilibrium although the "gun" fight was great too and very un-gunfight-like.

This fight scene is pretty damn good too!
