Ugh...

Sorry...
I keep disappearing for a few days at a time...
I blame my health... or lack thereof.

I have to get an ultrasound on Monday... I never thought I'd actually get one before I was pregnant, which I'm not.
...hopefully. :(

I miss the hell out of you guys, which is why I keep popping in to say hi and stuff.
If I have to have surgery, does anyone have any movie ideas for when I'll be laying in bed all day.
I need to catch up on my more modern horror.
I tend to find it either crappy, or boring...
Any good ones lately???

Awww... I didn't mean to ridicule Posh darling, only put in a bit of my opinion.
Sorry if I hurt your feelers...
But seriously. My friend Jeska digs your style...
She actually thinks your hot.
Not that I'm saying your ugly... plus, the horror-ness surpasses the clothing.
:o

Thanks Ribcut & Posh...

All uh u's. :D

Oh, and one more thing.
I'm about 15 miles away from my house borrowing someone's comp.
I might not be able to use another computer for a while.
I'll try, pero you may need to update me when I get back on.
Te amo!

Despare 04-27-2007 07:22 PM

I had to have an ultrasound myself... odd for a guy. Hope you're ok and while you're down I hope you get plenty of time to catch up on your flicks! Did you at least get a chance to get out and see Grindhouse?

They call me the honorary mexican. I'm all white, pero I'm friends with almost nothing but mexicans and I slip alot into my everyday speech, even though I'm not fluent.
For the last 2 years, I've learned everything I know of spanish from mexicans.
Oh, and I get beaten with chanclas when I piss them off. :D

And no, I still haven't seen Grindhouse. I'm hoping I can Sunday. I get between $20 and $40 tomorrow. I've been broke though.
I'm really looking forward to it though. I really hope it doesn't disappoint me.
I hate being disappointed. :(
I trust your opinion though... which is why I'm looking forward to it. :p

Why did you have an ultrasound, Despare???

(that is so my new way of saying I'm ignorant.)

It's rare, doesn't do much (I'm less likely to have a heart attack actually), and is pretty much forgettable.

novadawn969 04-27-2007 08:07 PM

Gilbert's syndrome (pr. Zhil-bear), often shortened to the acronym GS, is the most common hereditary cause of increased bilirubin, and is found in up to 5% of the population. The main symptom is otherwise harmless jaundice which does not require treatment, caused by elevated levels of unconjugated bilirubin in the bloodstream (hyperbilirubinemia).

The source of this hyperbilirubinemia is reduced activity of the enzyme (glucuronyl transferase) which conjugates bilirubin and some other lipophilic molecules. Conjugation renders the bilirubin water-soluble and suitable for excretion via the kidneys.

Gilbert's syndrome was first described by French gastroenterologist Augustin Nicolas Gilbert and co-workers in 1901.[1]

Sad that I understand most of that.

If you did would I be invited to your funeral???

Hows about a casket bearer???
Do I get to be in the front row???
:D
I can't be a snack person, I'd eat 'em all!!!
Can't do that, I tried to hard to lose that weight... :o

Despare 04-27-2007 08:18 PM

You could be in charge of the geese if you'd like. Besides aren't you the sick one right now? You'd have to be healthy to carry a casket.

If I do have the ovarian cyst they think I have, I might go on birth control to get rid of it.
I'm not complaining if it stays for awhile.
I have good pain tolerance.
:p

Plus, I'm not some wuss. I'd suck it up and make everyone else carry more of the weight. :D

_____V_____ 04-27-2007 08:27 PM

I m glad to know you are ok now, and all the best for the surgery and tests ahead. Get well soon, hon. We need you up and running on your feet.:)

If you need referrals for movies, click on any link in my sig.:D

I've had two co-workers with that problem; one had it go away while the other had a quick and simple surgery for it (just a few days ago, she was out that day actually).

_____V_____ 04-27-2007 08:30 PM

If it isnt embedded inside the walls somewhere, it can be taken out with a minor surgery. I hope thats what you got, if you got it. Plus meds will have you up in no time. So cheer up!!:p

Check out the pages of his tourney you missed, there are some great sequels and franchises you may have missed. Good recommendations there too.

Yeah, that's another option they have.
A 3-point incision

Tell him it's just a botfly larva being removed from an eye. ;)

_____V_____ 04-27-2007 09:01 PM

Nah, there's still some time left for the Apocalypse...

I m guessing we will end up sucked into the Sun when it becomes a black hole. Although by that time we might have made space travel a regular, and we will jettison ourselves into space...

who knows, crash-land on LV-426...near the eerie spacecraft...:D

(better get the Pulse rifles ready)

I watched doctors remove a botfly larva from a chick's head...Did you guys see that?..It was on television about a month ago...She had gone on vacation and she fell asleep on the beach or something...Anyway, she thought she was developing a cyst, till she felt it moving...
