Annoying as Hell
 

What personality traits/disorders that others have drive you crazy? I'm curious because i've been trying to cope with the antichrist band director and he's the definition of everything I can't stand, so what are they?

Mine:

-Condescending attitudes/statements. It's one of the most annoying things ever to me.

-People who take advantage of their power just because they can, and to demonstrate that they have it.

-People who patronize you and treat you like an underling when you're really a colleague and adversary.

I thought this was going to be another thread about Ellen Page.

I hate when people are bipolar and refuse to recognize it and get any help so they scream at you one minute and the next they try to hug you. No thanks.

Being talked down to also definately sucks. Like when people who are younger and less intelligent than you call you "kid". I wouldn't mind being called "Kiddo" cause it would remind me of Kill Bill and I'd be happy again but being called "Kid" by anyone but an elder is a put down in my opinion.

Uptight people with no self irony. I'm looking at YOU, Posh.

And people who don't find me the least funny. STILL LOOKING!!! :mad:

Either you don't find funny girls attractive, or you're afraid of them, or you're insanly jealous of her talent, or... and i'm leaning mostly towards this theory... You're gay!!

People who like Ellen Page because they think it's cool to do so, especially those who find her attractive, I mean she looks like a dude?!!!

I'm sorry that I don't think you're funny. I mean... Your sense of humor is like my band director's. and I hate him more than anyone on earth, so.. yeah. But you're great :D.

As far as i can recall only one person called her attractive. And that was a girl..... Hmm... that actually makes sense. :rolleyes:

Band Director as in school? You're his colleague? Ah well, life sucks somtimes, and the reason higher education is such a good thing is the fact that high school really just teaches you to deal with assholes. I can't stand people when people decide to tell me what my problem is. "Don't be so mean." "Don't be so negative." Etc... etc...

He calls us his colleagues, then relentlessly attacks us and treats us like shit. He's a big contradiction. It's miserable.

What do you... do? Are you a... teacher?

I have very little patience for people who have absolutely no communication skills. Since we're on the topic of coworkers, there's a certain engineer that I work with who I can only deal with through IM or email because as soon as he opens his mouth, it's a manic disarray of confusion and self-consciousness that just... Makes me want to tear my hair out.

Also. I agree that people who condescend make me want to commit mass acts of violence. HOWEVER, I am guilty of the same (though generally more in an ironic way).

Also. I just hate the ignorant masses - People who don't take a moment to sit and think about... anything. I realize that this is an incredibly ubiquitous and periphrastic statement, but I honestly feel that before you open your mouth, just... take the time to think about what you're going to say. I am mostly referring to people who form ignorant opinions based on mass generalizations as opposed to individual consideration and/or research. This can be anything from movies to the State of the Union and whether or not America should bomb Iraq... Just take a SECOND to consider that maybe your opinion IS wrong and the babyfood tripe that was fed to you in grammar school that your opinion mattered was just a way to stroke your growing ego. NOTE: I am NOT claiming that "Anyone who disagrees with me has a WRONG opinion," no, just rather "Anyone who has an MISinformed opinion... Is wrong. And a moron." If I don't agree with you, that's fine. Just be able to back up your claims with a well thought-out argument... Which goes back to people who are incapable of communication.

And we've come full-circle.
