If I gain any more weight, I'll be a candidate for The Biggest Loser! :D I gained A LOT of weight from jury duty - all that comfort food which I can't seem to let go of now.

Dante'sInferno 04-24-2008 05:47 AM

Eggs Benedict

Vodstok 04-24-2008 06:08 AM

1-3 in favor of the eggs so far.

Leave it to a southern girl to go for the biscuits and gravy :)

SHould i put a disclaimer on this?

"Participating in the Foodament may lead to persistant hunger and cravings for food that very well may kill you."

I think that's appropriate...I'm not sure about the "kill you" part (unless you put in that maggot cheese stuff *puke*), but it can definitely make you gain weight and leave the house at 3am looking for something to eat that you don't have in the kitchen:o

urgeok2 04-24-2008 06:24 AM

i'll vote as soon as i see something edible :p

Disease 04-24-2008 06:31 AM

Eggs benedict, but with smoked salmon, not meat...

Biscuits and gravy for breakfast, are you cereal?

I'm very cereal. cereal as a manbearpig. the gravy is made with cream, breakfast sausage and roux (fat and flour)

1-4 in favor of eggs benedict.

_____V_____ 04-24-2008 06:53 AM

Make mine the 6th - Eggs Benedict.

Hey, get it right - it's Toucan Sam! :D

Vodstok 04-24-2008 06:57 AM

looks like the eggs with. Both can lead to a massive heart attack if ingested too much, but the eggs come out on top. Must be the hollandaise sauce :)

Lets go for ridiculously expensive ingredients now:

Foie Gras

Vs.

Truffles

Foie Gras

hammerfan 04-24-2008 06:58 AM

I've never had either, so I'll abstain from this one.

I don't know what that is, but I'm going to vote for it.

Truffles are tasteless unless done right, and not worth the money IMO.

For those who aren't entirely sure what these are:

Foie Gras - Duck liver
Truffles - Rare type of mushroom that grows underground

I'll choose the truffles...I haven't tried them, but I prefer mushrooms over liver

urgeok2 04-24-2008 07:08 AM

Foie Gras rocks !

Actually truffles along with mushrooms are both members of the Fungi family..

Trufles only grow in a few small parts of the world, some small area in Italy and one or two others.

Vodstok 04-24-2008 07:19 AM

3-1 in favor of liver (Classic Foie Gras is goose liver, but it includes duck liver these days)

truffles are good, but that definately depends on how they are used. If you use too much, you end up with a musky dirt flavor

Papillon Noir 04-24-2008 07:24 AM

I guess I'll pick Foie Gras. Tastes like pate, right?

The pate has a lot more seasoning...Kinda like the difference between a pork chop and sausage...Well, more like the difference between beef liver and braunsweiger

I'd actually have chosen pate, if it were an option.

4-1 for foie gras

ferretchucker 04-24-2008 07:41 AM

never had foie gras so I'll say truffles.

Vodstok 04-24-2008 08:11 AM

4 -2 for foie gras

AUSTIN316426808 04-24-2008 08:30 AM

foie gras
..

Vodstok 04-24-2008 08:36 AM

lets hear it for oversized livers, yay!!! foie gras wins.

now, lets get to something a little more white trash.

McDonald's French Fries

Vs.

Wendy's French Fries

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/r...view/image.jpg

urgeok2 04-24-2008 08:38 AM

disgusting shitty little fat-sticks.

NEITHER.

they both make me physically ill (no lie)

Disease 04-24-2008 08:40 AM

I've never had Wendys french fries and Maccas are pretty damn good if they are fresh..

Micky D's....

Rayne 04-24-2008 08:41 AM

McDonald's

But like Disease says, "if they're fresh"...As soon as they get cold, they're disgusting...Microwaving them doesn't help either...Same with Wendy's

urgeok2 04-24-2008 08:43 AM

thats because as they get cold the grease coagulates.

and they are about 90% grease

_____V_____ 04-24-2008 08:46 AM

Ughh...hate both.

I ll abstain.

The_Return 04-24-2008 08:48 AM

McD's

Their fries are the only thing they have worth eating.
