It is coming...
Halloween is next month and it's the day when we can all go out dressed in costumes and not be taken to an asylum! Anyway, I was browsing for masks and though I don't like adveritising much (unless it's about me) these things are fucking awesome!
If you're willing to spend the money... Here's my favourite on one of the sites. There is a video. http://www.spfxmasks.com/maskzombie.html and my favourite on the other site. http://www.compositeeffects.com/silmask_imp.htm Brilliant masks that fit so well on the face it's uncanny. Take a look around the sites. |
Wow, those are really sweet....too bad I'm poor. Those people have serious skills.
|
very nice masks....very expensive also.
I can't wear masks....they drive me nuts. a couple of years ago I wore this to a Halloween party and it only lasted about 45 minutes, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...kinmule/me.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/000_0524.jpg the following year I painted my face.....the fucking devil horns wouldn't stick http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...le/008_18A.jpg |

I guess Mrs Newb thinks its a good omen or something, come Halloween. |

One more reason Flayed will remain eternally single. I don'ts need no wimmins doin strange ritual clothing changes on graven images in my living room.

I've been tryin g to find stuff to put together a Leatherface costume but I cant find a good mask or a yellow butchers apron anywhere.
|
I am still undecided about Hallowe'en costumes. As I get Derek reading more comics we've come up with more ideas for couple costumes.
Adam West style Batman and Julie Newmar style Catwoman (easiest) or Hellboy and Liz Sherman (a little hard) or Rorshach and Silk Spectre II (not a couple, no, but a theme. How the hell would I make his mask?) They are all equally attainable aside from Hellboy being a tad difficult. |

i made a pretty good one years ago .. i went someplece - shit it was so long ago i cant remember where - a shoe place maybe - but you could go to a fabric place - and buy some light coloured leather scraps. i stitched them together leaving eye holes - and i made a sort of nose by padding a part of the leather with stuffing, then stitching it with thread (and colouring the nostrils with dark colouring. it looked pretty decent - still have it to this day - i should take a pic and post it. i didnt bother with a yellow apron ... ii got a white one from the work cafeteria - put red paint on my hands and made bloody handprints all over it. I also coloured a wig black, and made it a bit crazy - wore this with a black suit and a loud gaudy tie. (i was going for the chainsaw 2 look) won every contest i ever went into for most scary. also - i used a real chainsaw - drained of oil and gas - plus i took the spark plug out. oh yeah - and black leather gloves (plus i have this black glove thing that makes it look like you are holding a severed hand. |
