Well, I'm glad Sean getting the biggest site whore award turned it into a positive thing, but I can't believe Leland Malinski only got one vote... I mean, the guy only came here to sponge money for his supposed movie project...

My only regret was Rod wasn't here for his award.

On second thought, I regret not being here for last years. This was insanely fun. Thanks for being the best horror forum on the web everyone! We do well for ourselves without an admin:)

True, if he is such a site whore he should have been here.....


And yes, NE is playing Man or Astro Man....

Was he a repeat offender? I must have blocked him out, I thought Sharkchild was the worst, all his posts have been plugging his shit.

They have been- but he doesn't ask for money and his podcast is actually pretty cool.

Still the guy has never contributed here, I don't want to be negative, but if someone is asking for money on HDC they are misguided anyway...

Leland was banned when he started getting abusive towards HDC members.

His thread was moved to the Indie Filmmakers section, and I guess he was too much of a douche in it when he realised he wont be getting even a penny's worth of donations for his "docu-horror".

And yeah, Sharkchild had Site Whore nailed. Weirdly, Rod won it.



MurderDoll had the best run though...

I'm guesiing you swept the pool, but what was the final analysis .......

A lot of guys like those bad girls you know....

Nah...I won only 3. (4, if you count Battle Royale, on It's behalf ;) )

Chrono scored 2, as did Urge, Rod and MurderDoll. The rest had 1 each, so I guess it was a pretty even spread as far as the winners were concerned.

It was good to see so many people represented and thought of in the nominations along with the winners....

Just a shame some of the guys who recieved special awards couldn't be here....

I'll win one of these yet, damn you! Even if I have to fish my Horry out of a claw machine at the local Fred Meyer. Like the old Loony Tunes cartoon with the oscars. You know....it was funny....

I thought for sure you people were going to vote for me for site whore because of my radio show. I figured I would get a few votes and I was shocked it was only like two votes.

I can't believe I only got one vot in the post`whore category...

I can't even believe I was nominated for the Post Whore category because I never really even post and when I do it's not like I post stupid things or anything like that.

I'll admit that was my vote. I voted for you for that because there was a night you posted in every forum and a lot of the posts were pretty lame. It was pretty apparent you were just trying to up your post count to get to the 8,000 number,which you then duly celebrated with a thread. It was the very definition of Post Whore.

You missed the piont obviously- it was the fact you were posting for the sole purpose of upping your post count that made you a post whore. No need to get defensive about it. You didn't win.

I know I really technically wasn't doing that to up my posts. If I remember correctly I voted in some of the tournaments and then also went in and said a few things about movies that were coming out soon and such but I wasn't really trying to up my count just to get to the 8k mark. I would have made it there anyway but to each their own I suppose.

Sorry if I came off being defensive. Wasn't trying to do that. Anyways the awards were a fun read and good job to all of those involved.

It's late, it's 6:30am... I am going to have a cigy and then go to sleep... Tomorrow may never happen...
