Which is the best Evil Dead movie?

army of darkness it ruled

I liked all of them but id have to say my favorite is Army of Darkness also. Scariest though was Evil Dead, the first one.I love Bruce Cambell, he does some cool shit in Army of Darkness

Hated AoD

Evil Dead, AoD seemed funny to me.

All of them suck.

But I guess I'll go with the first, for the woods scene.

Evil Dead is far superior....it is the best evil dead....the second one is ok and AoD is plain funny

First one. It's one of the few movies where the low budget fit it perfectly.

I liked the first one and Army Of Darkness pretty much the same...Part 2 just sort of "fell out" somehow...Oh well, I know what I mean...lol:)

The first one. I could'nt get in to the other two.

I had a hard time choosing, so I settled on the first one.

#1 was the best. The crudeness made it more scary, somehow.

#2 had too much slapstick. I hate one-liners too... but if anyone is going to deliver them, it should be Bruce Campbell.

#3 wasn't claustrophobic and suspenseful like the first two, more action/fantasy than horror.

The first one, just cause it spooked the shit out of me as a kid.

The first and third, I can't choose because one is comedy and one is horror.

the first, no doubt. the second came close to it, but AoD was just boring, funny in 1 or 2 places.
