Yes, newb, numero uno. So while stoked, we're also a little nervous and don't know what to expect.

Most likely a baby. :p

Doc Faustus 01-28-2009 01:03 PM

Occasionally, a sentient flesheating pumpkin comes out and howls "Blood for Gourdulon! Hail Gourdulon, god of the Jack-O-Lantern!"

alkytrio666 01-28-2009 02:02 PM

Congratulations B! Best of luck to you.

FC: Lol, priceless

bwind22: Congrats. You're gonna' be a daddy ! :D Do you care what the sex is, or just excited about having the kid in the 1st place?

bwind22 01-28-2009 10:35 PM

Thanks again gang. :D

Regarding the sex, I don't really care. I always said it'd be nice to have a boy before a girl so the girl would have someone to look out for her at school and such, but if the first one is a girl I wouldn't be disappointed or anything.

Talking about babies and sex in the same sentence is slightly inappropriate, don't you think? :D

But yeh, really good news.

Have you thought about names? I suggest Ferret.

Yes...with the middle name chucker....hmmm Leprucky? No? Hmm....I tried. :p

Do you plan on finding out what it's gonna be..or are u gonna just wait til it pops out? :D

The Flayed One 01-29-2009 06:15 PM

Congrats, sir!

Have you studied up on what age is appropriate to start them out sewing soccer balls in your basement for 15hrs a day? Some people say 4yrs, but I happen to think as early as 14 months is feasible.

Papillon Noir 01-30-2009 07:25 AM

Congrats! :) I still can't figure out why people want kids (i'm passing on that), but the human race thanks you! :p

TM-Beane 01-30-2009 07:46 AM

AAAAAW! Congrats on the baby! What'll y'all name it?

DraculaInDallas 01-30-2009 02:27 PM

This is the coolest news ever.

Congrats dude!

I know you will make an amazing dad.

Marroe 02-01-2009 09:22 PM

Hey, Congrats! That's really exciting.
My best new parent advice to you....Listen to adivce, but don't listen at the same time. And never let the child sleep in your bed. Never. Ever.

OMG !!!!! ME TOO !!!! I can't figure that out either. My Newest BFF !! lol

I hate kids-it doesn't matter what age range. When they're really young, they're messy, then there's that hyper stage....then teenagers give you that attitude and promiscuity (some girls)...bleh... I know, not all kids are like this. Just things I've noticed with some of them.

But Congrats, once again.

bwind22 02-01-2009 09:32 PM

Thanks again gang.

Btw. and don't forget to keep us posted the sooner it gets to the delivery. HDC wants the details. :D

bwind22 02-01-2009 10:09 PM

It'll be a while before any good updates because she's not due until the end of August, although we are going in on Friday the 13th to hear the heartbeat which should be kinda cool.

I'm wondering if 2 months old is too young for the baby's first zombie pub crawl or if we'll have to wait until 14 months for that. It can be kinda chilly here in MN at the end of October.

3 months is definitely old enough for the baby's first horror convention though because that's indoors. :D

And be sure to tell us about the baby's 1st words...I mean screams. :D

Latest Baby Makin Update

We're about halfway through the pregnancy. Alana just had an ultrasound appointment yesterday.

As you can see in the 3rd picture, it's a boy! And according to the nurse, everything looks normal with baby & mama so it's going good so far.

And I bought a Wii yesterday on the condition that I also bought Wii Fit to help Alana stay in shape during & after pregnancy. :)
