Cute Movie Critics

So I’ve been a fan of director charles band and full moon features since I was 11 years old. He does “interesting” work. If you are familiar with puppet master, evil bong, trancers, etc. then you know what im talking about. Anyway, I was on youtube checking out charles band’s vidcast and stumbled upon a clip of these two chicks who are fans as well. I didn’t know cute girls liked these movies as well. I always though full moon had such a “cult” following that only includes geeks, nerds, and weirdos. I just thought they were adorable. They look like teens but I would hit it.

Full Moon has sucked since 1999...It was difficult for me to accept, too...

no shit.

i grew out of full moon many years ago when i began to see how pathetic they were. I thought only Peter Pan could stay 11 years old forever - i was wrong.

The early Full Moon stuff is great.... Trancers, Metalstorm.

i have most of the early ones .. and some are fun ...

when they made the move to romania to support the non existing budget - things went downhill fast.

i'm just sick of this same goof promoting the same crap over and over again...

Same deal with Troma really. The Toxic Avenger and Class Of Nuke 'em High were gems but their films lost the class those flicks had. At least Troma distros some decent cult flicks like Combat Shock and the like.

Oh...I thought this was going to be another thread about MissM's video...my bad.

The leg humping in the comments over there is hilarious.

Awww dude, yeah but stuff like Terror Firmer, Citizen Toxie and Poultreygeist are great for gross-out drunken fun.

There was never any class in Troma. Character and style, yes...but definitely not class. ;)

-D

I've heard Poultreygeist was a pretty decent watch I'll have to give it a spin sometime. Citizen Toxie was killer it really took me by suprise by how good it was.... yet to see Terror Firmer don't think it ever got a release in NZ.

Well those were their last 3 Kaufman-directed movies...which as far as I am concerned, those are the only Troma-made ones worth watching. They get some cool licensed stuff too, of course, but I just stick with Kaufman because he knows what a Troma movie is supposed to be like.

Tromeo and Juliet was good too.

I hear that dude. The ones he directs are a lot better than the majority of their releases. Don't get me wrong I love so called "bad" movies but when its done more intentionally it gets tiresome.
