Ornery Cats

Do you have troubles with ornery cats?

You know how cats are always sneaking around, sniffing for food, sniffing for better food if their current food is boring to them; pawing, clawing, leaping and otherwise misbehaving. They are often ornery creatures!

Well, someone gave me a big bag of tasty cat food a few weeks ago. The kitties over here liked the new cat food supply immediately, and it makes sense for me to use it because...it's free! But now one of the cats, Hootie, has become "ornery"...he makes noises outside the window all the time, and when he comes inside he is clearly all geared up..."The food! Where is the food! I am excited about the food." He barely gives me time to pour the food onto a plate...Hootie is just crowding me and meowling and he is downright ornery.

Tie a bag of urine to a tree, poke it with a pin so it leaks out over time.
Refill as necessary.
Hai!

Damn. This place needs a cat-exorcist, and soon.

My pretties are mostly ornery when I shut them out of the bedroom - The stand outside and scream and paw at the door, especially Ripley.

So if you want to save your soul... Just close the door behind you.

HA! Take THAT pea brain feline!

Yikes--oh, they look like little GOBLINS! Somebody get the goblin spray, it's the only thing that will drive the little buggers away.

Nine out of ten schizophrenics prefer Henderson's goblin spray, the goblin spray endorsed by Bob Saget.

The Birds are stealing my cat's food. I warn them, but they don't listen.

Doc Faustus 06-07-2009 10:15 AM

I think your cats can work out to do about that pretty quickly. Sounds like a less-than-complicated ecosystem to me.

no ornery cats here, they know the schedules.

there outside cats, so im sure they catch meals outside when they like.

My two are VERY ornery. They'll eat a brand of cat food for a while, then start turning their nose up at it. Seems like every couple of weeks I have to change cat food.

crabapple 06-08-2009 05:13 AM

Yeah...yeah......cats are that way. They're picky little things, and they get spoiled. Specially if they have a human who lets 'em get that way! ;)

Well, yeah, that would be me! :D

crabapple 06-08-2009 05:31 AM

I think that's why people like cats...because cats are so much like people. We justify our own pickiness and hifalutin' haughty attitudes when we spoil our kitties! And they love it, those little furballs.

Noah 06-08-2009 09:28 AM

I love meownimals.

Posher778 06-08-2009 12:10 PM

I have a puppy.

Doc Faustus 06-08-2009 12:20 PM

Sorry to hear the rest of your litter didn't make it.

ChronoGrl 06-08-2009 03:11 PM

Leeloo just threw up on the living room rug. :(

Posher778 06-08-2009 04:05 PM

Cough up a hairball eh? Err... Skinball?

ChronoGrl 06-08-2009 04:48 PM

The skin of my former downstairs neighbor - Didn't agree with her stomach. :D

If wolfie ever gets mad with me, I always know it. He has 'accidents' conveniently placed.
He has been extra picky with his food , but he has been very sick lately, so I completely and utterly spoil him:)
The kitten so far has never been ornery, but I say before he turns 1... There Will Be Something:eek:
