Really? Who ran to the mods concerning you, Wu? Because no moderation was needed to prove you didn't know what you were talking about.

.

About a month ago. i saw a fight. This dude got his arse kicked. But he and his friends went around telling everyone he had won the fight. Despite telling anyone who would listen he won. probably even saying it so many times, he probably even convinced himself he had won. It still didn't make it so.

I didn't start a thread calling for mods to take action against it, you did.

Not once did you refute a thing i said. Well you did refute them. But not successfully.

See? This is why people might come to the conclusion that you don't know what you're talking about. I asked for proof; you couldn't give it; your argument was moot; and still you insist that you have some sustainable position. That's the very definition of an argument made and lost.

But this is not about that thread.

Asking the mods to moderate? I don't think expecting mods to keep the juvenile clique, that makes it a point to run off prospective members, in check is out of order. Are you threatened by a shake up of the status quo you have established?

Ok so. It's alright for you to tell people to go google. one of your "proofs" Yet not for others?

I had a link to the source material, and the summary of the findings. You had, and still have, nothing.

Again, this isn't the thread for this. Go put some sort of basis for your argument in that thread.

telling them how to do their job, yes.

I've never been "moderated" even when "It Stops Now" was first created and the mods "had some balls" as you said.

That's their failing. Because you definitely need "moderation", with your flaming campaign towards new members.

I told Posher, and I'll tell you--this isn't your private clubhouse, where you hold court and pass decision on who stays and who goes.

I don't decide that, the new members do.

I do not feel compelled to flame new members, I've gone out of my way on a few occasions to make new people feel welcome.

Right. "Feel free to stick around, but you have to put up with me being a bitch towards you, because the mods allow it and won't do anything about it."

"A few occasions." As long as they get in line behind you right off the bat, isn't that what you mean?

It's funny, when Fangoria closed and HDC got a flood of new members who were brazen about their intentions (I seem to recall some posts to the tune of "we're going to take over these boards"), banning was swift, while the ingrained trolls of HDC were allowed to continue business as usual. THAT was hypocrisy.

fuglystick 08-31-2010 01:25 PM

And no, MD, I will not be your "friend," because I don't like you, and I have no intention of joining the merry band of douchebags. People on a message board don't have to "like" everyone else, but they should be able to post without the approval of the "cool kids".

urdevil 08-31-2010 02:10 PM

Thank you Fugly Stick

Thank you, you doll face you. That thing runs amok and a lot of people think its okay. That thing is the biggest douchebag and treats newbies like shit unless they agree with her POV. Between you and me I think it might be Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh. or OMFG Ann Coulter.

Fugly you rock:D

Doc Faustus 08-31-2010 02:36 PM

At the top of that page is the name of an entire motherfucking genre. We have the word horror. I don't think enough of you appreciate that. When people want to talk about horror, they come here. Why? Because we are HORROR.MOTHERFUCKINGCOM. If there are ten people who are comfortable saying anything on HORROR.MOTHERFUCKINGCOM, then we've got a problem. murderdoll, you're great, clever, fun and culture savvy, but you are Horror.com's OJ. I don't mean to stifle your sexy, sexy misanthropy, but your capacity to bukkake all over social mores is meant to be a weapon for good and not for casual cruelty. There are many things in this world worse than this board having new people participating in discussions. The thought of a world where that would be the biggest conflict makes me think this might be one of those awful parallel universes where some member of the X Men was killed. Let's just stop being shitty to each other and expand our definition of "each other" to include the remaining 4% of horror fans on the internet who have not tried to join this board and decided to leave after a day of being deluged with insults. Fuglystick, thanks for having the balls.

Posher778 08-31-2010 03:47 PM

Doesn't matter if Rory did something wrong. She completely invalidated Fugly's argument with her link to him doing exactly what he's saying we shouldn't do.

Doc Faustus 08-31-2010 04:00 PM

But doesn't disapproving of him having done it only prove that it's not the right thing to do?

fuglystick 08-31-2010 04:23 PM

IF I was in the wrong for coming down on Wu (I don't think I was; as I pointed out, he had no argument, just a lot of bluster), then a mod should have said "that won't fly." I have no problem with being put in my place as well if I overstep the bounds.

It would be a glaring double standard at this point, though.

(By the way, Posher, the forum isn't your Facebook page. If you want to converse with someone, do it on their profile or through a PM)

illdojo 08-31-2010 04:53 PM

Trash talking is part of most forums. Why call out the Mods? It seems to me you LIKE to debate...so what's the big deal? Just go with the flow. The forum is not called crybaby.com. ;)

It isn't murderdollandcompanysprivatefuckingfunshack.com either.

This isn't about debate. This is about someone joining the forum and being flamed off of it because they didn't meet the douche patrol's standard after a handful of posts.

You obviously dislike Dolly's sense of humor. You wouldn't be the first. I love her sense of humor. Different strokes for different folks...I guess.

No, I dislike "Dolly." But as I said, this isn't about "like" or "dislike." It's about giving people the chance to acclimate to the boards and become participating members, rather than persecuting anyone who dares try to join a public forum (shocking, right?).

wufongtan. 08-31-2010 05:13 PM

I remember years ago. Everyone use to abuse "noobs". Every newbe. Was met with "hey cock sucker" or fuck off, you're not wanted"

' And it wasn't from just a few people. It was from everyone. Even people you wouldn't think would do such a thing. (Except for me. It wasn't my thing) Anywayz. These people wouldn't hang around for long. Personally if i got a welcome like that, i would think i was in Internet heaven.
And i don't get the whole Internet bully thing. But what i get even less is how someone can feel bullied on these forums. Face book..Yeah. But on such a place like this. After all they don't really know you. And if you are the sort who lets too much personal information out. And then gets all sensitive, when people turn that info back on you. Then you either have to stop letting so much personal info out. Or drink some cement and harden the fuck up really..

I don't know what you're point is here, Wu, other than you're a masochist.

Elvis_Christ 08-31-2010 05:35 PM

This vendetta you've got is just kinda sad.

You should just chill and sing a happy song or something.

Here's one...

Yeah, I knew you'd show up too, Elvis. Douchebags love to stick together. Another log for the pyre.

And you're the sad one, with your whole "I'm so fucking punk" spiel. A true poseur.

Come back with some substance, and we'll talk.

Elvis_Christ 08-31-2010 05:51 PM

Nice edit.

I know you disagree with some people's negative conduct to each other, so it doesn't make sense to meet that with personal remarks.

I know what you mean, it is a bit daunting being a new member here but to be honest, it isn't completely blind. Look at Chrono, I seem to remember her being met with open arms because she was a very nice and sensible person from the offset. I on the other hand, was a different story. I acted like a fool, so I was treated like a fool. Some of the attitude towards newbs is unfounded and extreme but for the most part, things have seemed pretty tame of late.

I just don't feel like a pissing contest.

And I'm not the only one tired of you and yours. You clowns have been dragging the forums down for far too long. The rest of us would like to participate in an active community. If you can't get on board, get out.

I can be goaded, just like anyone, ferret. But your right, it has no place in this thread.

And people will make it, or they won't. There are standards that need to be met to fit into a community. But those standards are not determined by a zealous few who pounce on fresh meat as soon as they cross the threshold.

I'd be willing to bet you have cost the boards more with your douchebaggery.

Don't go. You will end up on more and more ignore lists until you and the rest of the douche patrol are doing nothing but congratulating yourselves for "ruling the boards." And that really WILL be sad.

Wow you are totally deluded. Seriously... how do you come up with this shit?

Is there someone you should call about your medication?
