So guys talk about good and scary horror games here, I want to know your thoughts :)

In recent years, probably Dead Space & Condemned.

Amnesia was a pretty creepy game.

But i think FEAR takes the cake.

Condemned really great atmosphere and great story its a shame that the second one was rubbish the story got a bit stupid changing the characters and so on .Im loving Siren Blood Curse really creepy Japanese survival horror game for the PS3.

Alright. My own favs are DOOM 3, Dead Space 2, Condemned 1 and AvP 2 :)

You might dig Clocktower, Siren, and Cold Fear too.

The first one & that mannequin level where they follow you at 3am, lights off, surround sound on. So freaky.

Ha ha yeah i remember sitting there so into the game next minute i was surrounded i almost choke on my drink you just didnt know what was gonna happen next.

My favorite horror games at the time would be Eternal Darkness, any Castlevania game, any Blood Omen game, all the Silent Hill games, Dead Space, Fear and Jerico.

Dead Space scared the crap out of me... And the Condemned games were pretty damn creepy as well.

Even though they're more scifi, I think that BioShock was a horror game - Loved it. Really creepy with fantastic graphics.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare isn't all that scary but is a hella fun zombie shooter.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is a game I have considered picking up, is it true that the version which are sold on a disc is stand alone so you do not need Red Dead Redemption itself to play it?

I recently just played through Silent Hill 2, I forgot how rad it and genuinely creepy it was.

Yeah, there is a version in which you don't need Red Dead. Bit like the Liberty City stories where you didn't need GTA IV. Though obviously you can't play through the main story..!

For me it's Evil Dead: Regeneration and Nightmare Creatures.

My grand aunt gave my Red dead Redemption Undead Nightmare for my birthday. Is it the main storyline of Red Dead Redemption one can not play through or the main storyline of Undead Nightmare?

PyramidHead is the most creepy video game villain ever in my opinion. :D

If it's the stand-alone Undead Nightmare game, i.e. it's own disc. Then yeah that's just the Undead Nightmare story not the main story. I just downloaded the add-on off Xbox Live which works ONLY if you have the original Red Dead Redemption game.

I need to go back to that game, only just about got into Mexico! As for Undead Nightmare I think I've done one mission...

It is the disc version I have of Undead Nightmare. I am not so interested in the Western of the original game, I just want the zombie parts.

Yeah, that's just the Undead Nightmare story then, not the original. Heard a lot of good things about it though, I should really try and play through it some time.

I have heard good things about it to. And besides it is cool to get a Playstation 3 game as a gift from my 92 years old grand aunt. :D

How has no one mentioned Dead Rising 1 and 2 yet? That game is fun as shit. I just rented House of the Dead 2 & 3 for the Wii (old school arcade shooter) Its pretty cool. Splatter house?

the only horror game that freaks me out is Silent Hill.
