BTW, Chinese ancienct fiction says if you spit on a ghost, it can turn into a sheep, which you can sell for money. :p Not sure what you can turn into.

Haha, there was another one that I really like.

Once upon a time, there was a young apprentice studying in a rural small hut, while a ghost flight in.

Actually, this ghost was hanged to death, so it showed the horroric face of its death with eyes bursted out and tongue long down the mouth, saying, "Tremble in fear, human."

The apprentice said, "Well, bigger eyes and longer tongue, just a shitty face. Why should I fear?"

Then ghost took off its head, and put it on the desk. "Fear me this time, Human?"

The apprentice replied, "I even did not fear you with a head, how could I fear a headless one? "

The ghost was so depressed and left. :p
