Has little to do with needing thick skin. Has way more to do with just not being interested in continued treatment of this kind. Again, no real "need" to be here. I love horror films and came here hoping for a forum of like minded people and the ability to talk about horror films.

I questioned a few lists and since then all we seem to have talked about for the most part is how I'm some former banned member back to cause trouble or somebody taking the time to announce they are ignoring me.

And no, nobody named names specifically. It would appear that pretty much only Neverending has the stones to say what he means. Sadly he is either mistaken about believing I said something and edited it later or he knows he is wrong and won't admit it. I tend to believe the former, but in either case I'm still SOL on that one because the end result is the same.

It also doesn't take a genius to figure out the person being discussed, it's not as if there is a lot of activity on this forum. So nobody really needs to name names. So with that clarified I'll try and be on my way again. The "cool kids" won't be bothered by me and I won't be wasting my time trying to convince the "cool kids" that I'm not some "poster from their past" and that I "didn't call them names." I already did junior high once, I'm not in a hurry to repeat the experience.

So seriously, ya'll enjoy your forum. I'm certain you will all get along just fine without me.

At least let me play you a tune on your way out.

We had a huge fight on Facebook and over PMs here about which came first - the chicken or the egg?, and she splatted the egg (in question) on my head and left in a huff, and put me promptly on Ignore.

Never gave me a chance to barbecue the chicken (in question), either. :mad:

I don't even know the guy, haven't much seen any of his posts so he's clearly not super-troll material...
But yeah, making a whole thread just to announce to both the intended recipient and the rest of the forum that you're ignoring them?
It's basically a "lets put shit on them" thread, why not just be more straightforward about it?
In all honesty it seems kind of underhanded, like if you have something to say to or about someone I just think that the direct approach is better than the transparent attempt to have a dig at them.

If you're going to ignore someone just do it, there's no need to make a huge production of it, nobody needs to know about this clearly legendary action.
The ignore function. You just click it. Everyone knows it's here. It doesn't need to be announced to become functional.

The amount of times I've seen someone accused of being an "old foe" to the forum though...bit ridiculous...:rolleyes:

That's not out of the ordinary at all. People wonder why this forum lacks activity but everytime someone shows up that actually wants to talk about horror, they get grilled for being a former member and harassed until they leave as soon as they disagree with a long-term member or say something unpopular.

That being said, I didn't see any of this guy's posts and have no idea if he was actaully here to talk horror or cause problems. This is just a general observation I've noticed over the past few years.

Well, he was pretty abrasive. I have no idea whether he was a troll or just someone with a personality that managed to get on people's nerves.

I never hit ignore, even if I'm not down with what some one says, just a personal preference, don't care if you do.

I think you all need to back off of me - I NEVER said WHO I was ignoring.
