I'm Harley, new to this forum and I am currently writing a feature on the appeal of horror films, and why people enjoy watching them. I am looking to speak to someone who has had a bad experience/been traumatized when watching a horror film, or alternatively knows someone else who has.
If you can help please message me on here. Thanks! |
I faint whenever I see blood on the screen. So far, I have fainted 2054 times in the theater and 1037 times at home, every time a horror film was played. Still, it hasn't stopped me from watching 3091 horror films.
As many as 7 people I know have gone completely mad after watching The Village. 10 others are battling brain-dead symptoms. That's the level of trauma it has caused. Hope that helps. |

After passionately watching horror films for the last 10-15 years I've now successfully became a serial killer, locally known as 'The Decorator'...as I replaced the showpieces with the body parts of my victims (mostly happily married new couples) in the drawing room of their house.
I just don't know why....but as soon I sees gore & mayhem in a horror film I always felt an urge to kill people...particularly beautiful young boys & girls who just got engaged or married..... Our local police force are so fucked up that they still has no clue about my identity and that gives a safe & secure practice field where I can extensively research, learn & skill myself about this art & business before becoming an international.... . . . . (Ssssh...that's just a synopsis of an idea..!:D) |
The first time i watched a horror movie i got so scared i died. Then i came back as a zombie and killed a bunch of people before finally being killed once again. Now i'm a ghost that haunts horror forums and people that write features on the appeal of horror movies.
Don't turn off your lights when you go to sleep..... |

I'm a necrophiliac. The stiffies that stiffs have are ten times as hard as your average engorged living male.
Horror films with a high body count are the only way I can get off without violating the dead. |

What's a horror film?
|
Hi Harley
I've been a horror fan for over 25 years and I think the main reason why I love horror films is the adrenalin I get from being scared; the complete break from a monotonous personal existence; and the look on people's faces when I tell them I'm a horror fan. They get this look in their eyes ... this tiny bit of fear, thinking don't piss her off or she'll hack my head off or something. In reality, watching horror films, etc keeps me balanced. I get my frustration and anger out through being scared, etc rather than taking it verbally or physically out on someone. If that makes sense! |
