So we are finally needing a new bass amp because we are playing with James a SUPER LOUD drummer and we already have a marshall stack.....

We are looking at a Mesa boogie Walkabout that is purely amazing.....its only got 1 15", but it sounds louder, and better, than the Ampeg, SWT, and Fender 8x10s we were playing on....its really amazing....

But so is the price at a pretty hefty 1500$

My friend is waiting for an Ashdown amp. Small brand name but ive heard good things. I think hes getting the 2 4X10 combo with cabinets. Im not sure though i will have to ask him..

Man our old bassist had the ULTIMATE in excess...

an 8x10 cabnit that was as tall as you....and then a HUGE 15 for the lows.....something like 1500 watts....

But honestly, this small amp gets around that loud....if you ever get the chance, check out mesa boogie's shit.....fucking amazing....but not for the faint of heart, or wallet;)

Damn. I will check that out though. And i dont advise trying to find Ashdown. Most of the Amps are backordered. My friend gets an email just about every month saying it will take another couple of months until its in lol.

What dealer is he going though?

Im having a Friday the 13th Guitar made and it cost $2000 and thats just for the guitar now it costs $500 for them to put the grapic on
