Maybe you should. Part 1 and 2 are slashers. The others ones feel more like comic books.

Puppet Master I, with Puppet Master III a close second (first appearance of Six-Shooter).

I blame DeCoteau for Retro Puppet Master. He's a very bad source of inspiration.

I agree Retro Puppet Master sucked ass....however, I would like to see one more that comes before the 1st just to see what happened to Dr. Death and why Andre decided to change the names of the puppets ie Drill Seargant I think that Six Shooter is bad-ass....but i never really saw a purpose for Leech Woman....other than she was just gross.. But my all time favorite is Blade!!!!!!
