Newer horror films or older?

In my opinion there have not been many great horror films in the last 5-10 years. Anyone agree...disagree?

Apologies

I apologize that this post ended up in the Indie Horror section. It was not my intention...I was doing far too many things at once. Still, if you wish to vote above or respond to the post feel free. Thanks.

I agree that more crap is put out and a great horror film comes few and far between. But those great ones are absolute gems (Dagon and Frailty baby). I prefer the 80's myself.

i voted but I voted against what you were asking... I put it in my top 10 movies that I absolutely love... I myself love 70`s italian horror.. :D

I didn't even see the poll. I thought he was asking if we prefer older films over new ones. Anyway, Dog Soldiers definitely runs with my pack of werewolf favorites. I also love The Howling I and V, Silver Bullet, American Werewolf in London, Wolf, The Wolfman, and Full Eclipse.

Definitely older. A few come along these days but not many. I like the '80s the most.
