I think every saturday Sci-Fi Channel shows an original but im not sure. Tonight 3/12/05 is one called Mansquito followed by another mosquito movie with Gunnar Hansen from 1994. I dont know whos in Mansquito but hell at least its something to watch!

That was lame. University of Iowa has one of the best writer's workshop programs in the country.

Actaully, ROAD TO PERDITION, starring Tom Hanks, was shot in IOWA as were a number of other films over the years. Check out:
.IOWA Filmography

Not a bad film resume for a bunch of cornfields!

And since this is a horror forum, back in 1984 CHILDREN OF THE CORN was shot there, but I guess that one was on obvious choice.

I seen half of that movie, It was the biggest piece of shit. Who gives a shit about Gunnar Hansen.

The best line in the movie was when Gunnar found a Chainsaw and said "I haven't seen one of these in 20 years"

I do give Sci-Fi Sat nights a chance, during the 1 AM showings usually. I miss the Tues re-show. I like to go out weekends and Tuesdays are a TV wasteland late at night. Well. not anymore now that THE SHIELD is coming back. Don't know about Glenn Close though.
