If someone know's this I'll be REALLY impressed

I saw this movie/show not sure what it was back in the mid 80s. If memory serves me right it might have been several parts. To make a long story short the movie/show was based about radioactive ants. They were in the desert and would swarm things at such an incredible speed that you could only see what happened in slow motion. They were not giant ants, just looked like regular ants and I think that it ended with them gassing the ant colony in the desert. That's about all the information that I can remember. If you know this your the most uber horror fan of all time.

I think you're right

Wow, I think you're right. I put that on google and read and I think that is the accurate answer. I think I'm gonna buy it and see. That movie might not have been a horror movie instead of scifi but I am impressed. Thanks!

Is that the one in the desert where the ants are super smart and have that reflector thing put up to make it really hot in the building the humans are in?

Yeah, I never got to see that one all the way through. I remember Sci-Fi channel used to play it a couple times every month for a year (or so it seemed).
