Can anyone tell me if the new version with Rob Lowe is any good?

it was ok, but not as good as i had hoped it would be. if you are thinking about buying it on DVD...rent it first.

Meh it was decent, nothing to rave about. Go with the original.

Great film i.mo. better then the original since i hated the whole nosferatu rip off look. Worth checking out thats for damn sure and if you havnt seen Return to 'salem's lot its also worth a look if your into cheesy horror films.

Any Stephen King movie on TV is crap, they're always too boring and the "special effects" are poop.

Dont judge a t.v. film by the special effects thats not fair. In no way did salems lot '04 suck balls. Also just a reminder the original 'salem's lot (tobe hooper) was made for t.v. as well as was the sequal (directed by cohen known best for it's alive)
