this movie sucked. it is worse than ghost ship. i could at least sit through ghost ship without having to keep myself awake. i had to do this in feardotcom. who else thinks it sucked.

i thought it was dumb, too much like the ring. but whats really funny is i watched the movie and typed in fear.com and it sent me here so if it hadn't been for the movie i wouldn't have found horror.com so in a way its an ok movie.

I won free tickets for that movie last year, and I still felt like I got ripped off. Not even a good actor like Stephen Dorff could save this horrible mess...

I was pumped for this flick--Stephen Dorff, Jeffrey Combs, Udo Kier, Stephen Rea, Nigel Terry....what a cast. Too bad it sucks shit through a tube. Piece of poo.

This movie sucked, it's a direct rip off of the ring.:mad:

I'm sure everyone has caught this by now, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.

The Ring (2002)
Feardotcom (2002)

Both were produced and released at almost the exact same time. The only truth to the "ripped off the Ring" comments is that The Ring was a rip off of the orignal "Ringu" movie whic was released in 1998. So yes, Feardotcom may have ripped off one movie, but it probably wasn't the Ring.

Both sucked equally, although the I will say that Feardotcom was a lot gorier, which I liked. Still, both deserved (at highest) a PG-13 rating.

when i typed in fear.com i came up to one of those websites u can by. yeah getting free tickets for this was a rip off. the only scene that was sick was the roach scene. i didn't have to turn away or I didn't feel quezy but out of the whole film it was sick.

But they rushed Feardotcom out theatrically first b/c they knew people would call it a rip-off.
