I Have To Make This Quick...
 

I'm sorry that I haven't been here for quite a while, but we have encountered a problem...

Ash was born on the 16th, as scheduled...Everything was fine...BUT...On Thursday, the 22nd, he started having seizures...I am posting this from Children's Hospital in Cincinnati...They ran about a million tests on him...Including a spinal tap that nearly killed me...We have been here since Thursday night, with very little sleep...Dustin is sleeping on a hospital fold-out bed behind me right now...He has been trading days and hours with the guys at work so that he could be here as often as possible (he even worked on Christmas day, while I was here at the hospital with the baby), it has all caught up with him, he is exhausted, as are we all...

As of this moment, the baby is doing much better...He hasn't had anymore seizures since Friday morning, and we think that everything is under control now...They are just monitoring him at this point...We are hoping to hear something this morning around 9am about when he can go home...This is a much better day (night) than we have had so far

Meanwhile...We STILL have no computer at home, so posting will be diffidult for a while...We also have postponed Christmas...We will be having Christmas dinner, and celebrating OUR Christmas as soon as Ash comes home

I wanted you all to know that I had a chance to read ALL of the awesome threads that you guys made for us...Thanks Haunted and Marroe...And of course all the rest of you guys, too...I didn't want you to think that it went unnoticed...It was very sweet and much appreciated...

Really sorry to hear the bad news but it's great to hear everything's gotten better and you guys might be outta there soon. Hope the little guy gets and stays healthy. Merry Christmas to you and the family,have a good one cause you deserve it.

I'm so sorry to hear Ash is having health problems. I'll say lots of prayers for him and for all of you that this is not serious and ends very soon! You're in my thoughts!

I'll leave this same message on your home phone, but if you get this first, call me even if you have to call collect. I want all the details on my little guy.
