Obscure Horror Films

Okay, so last night I started watching this obscure 1970s horror film called SISTERS OF DEATH. Has anybody heard of it? I was super tired and didn't get to finish it because I fell asleep, but what I did see was deliciously cheesey!--shotty acting jobs and bell bottoms galore!

What are other favorite obscure horror classics?

Early Jack Nicholson and (non-early) Boris Karloff in THE TERROR, anyone?

How about CARNIVAL OF SOULS? I actually live in Lawrence, KS where much of it was shot.

And finally, I submit SILENT NIGHT, BLOODY NIGHT, a surprisingly affective tale of terror!

IDEAS?

Nothing after your first one are really that obscure...

Ive seen The Terror and Carnival of Souls, they're both pretty good. CoS is a lot better, but The Terror is still a good show.

How out Dark Heritage? Now therse a pretty obsucure one for ya! 88 cents on Amazon:p. I did honestly enjoy it though...cheesy, and the sound quality sucks, but still a fun ride. Its based on Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear.

Ah, yes, I did once own Sisters of Death, I watched it one and a half times, and I liked it. I like crappy fun movies! I believe Arthur Franz was in that? And it's very 70's...love the hairstyles and the pants.
