Just b/c I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get me
What horror films have best showcased the paranoia element? I have several answers but I want to hear yours first.

Okay, good answers. Of course I was going to say The Thing for obvious reasons. Brain Dead (not PJ's film) b/c the whole movie is a study of paranoia. And Maniac Cop. Why Maniac Cop you ask? Because of the media-induced paranoia. The news tells everyone that a rogue cop is on the loose and an innocent cop gets his head blown off by a little old lady. What an influence the media have.

Jacob's Ladder was bad ass - I haven't seen that in SOOO long.
Paranoia Paranoia blah blah someone's coming to get me, just say you never met me, something about living underground with the moles, digging holes... HERE IS THE ULTIMATE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!! ROSEMARY'S BABY! |
