Help needed with finding horro movie title

Hi there,

My sister and I are looking for a particular horror movie most likely late 70's to mid 80's. We both saw this when we were quite young and of course were told to watch something more appropriate.

From memory there was a scene/flashback where by a family consisting of 2 daughters and one son were in the car with their parents. One of the sisters along with the brother decide to lock the sister in her seat with her belt. The next thing that happens is that the cars engine catches on fire. All the family members try to escape but the sister tied to her seat belt cant escape and she dies.

Another scene is where the daughter that dies speak to her sister and coaks her to do horrible things. There is also a scene where the dead daughter is standing at the foot of the mothers bed.

Can anyone help with finding the name of this horror movie - we are at our wits end!!!

We would greatly appreciate your assistance ;)

Your next challenge is finding it, since this film has been long unavailable anywhere for quite some time.

I have a rare copy.

:D
