The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels :) or 2.4 KB (whichever is smaller). :mad:

Is the ability to upload a picture from your computer EVER going to get fixed??? When you go to add an attachment, the ability to add from your computer is an option, but IT DOESN'T work!!!! I don't want to get a photobucket account and if the ability to add from your computer is an option, the IT SHOULD WORK! :mad:

As far as posting pics in threads, I'm thinking one reason he may have ( I'm not saying that it is certain) but one reason he may have stopped doing the upload from your computer option is that when you do upload a pic, it has to be hosted by the site itself, that runs up bandwidth space, and if you think about it all the pics that used to get posted and uploaded by people, it was ALOT of stuff...So maybe he wanted to cut down on bandwidth usage...There are lots of forums out there that make you host your own pics if you want to post them, for a long time our forum was one that didn't require you to do that unless the file was to big...Just an idea...

I would prefer NOT to use photobucket or anything else. I try to limit the sites that I add my info to. AND if it's an option, IT SHOULD WORK!!!! If it will never work, it should be removed as an option. :mad:

I don't really care about using a hosting service to host pics, my problem is the tiny avatar size limit and the 500 character rule for signatures. It's really difficult to find or make a pic small enough to use. As for the signature thing, can someone explain to me why people can have huge images in their sigs, yet we can only have up to 500 characters of text? This makes no sense at all to me.

I've noticed too that certain sizes and colors are not allowed in sigs anymore. So my sig is frozen until something changes.
